Ranvir is good, he is actually managing the show on behalf of DD. I don't who made her a host, she is horrible, acts OTT, screams at times, looks nervous as if she's gonna perform next, tries to remember the script, isn't spontaneous, no sense of humour, interrupts between sometimes.

Spontaneity is missing in both..Ranveer seems to do most of the talking while DD is just adding glamour I felt..

Hopefully they will buck up and surprise us but for now there is lot of room for improvement

It's the first episode give them a break lol.

In fact look at any tv show and look at the newbies in the industry who get to do lead in a serial, they are not as good either in the first episode and then improve. Therefore y'all need to give these 2 a break. And I agree the script needs to be altered to fit the hosts personality.

I just peeked occasionally at the show and caught the hosts in action. I was surprised by Ranvir...I was a fan of his acts during his TV days,I wondered y he has become so serious and slightly boring. But it's ok,atleast he could host...comedy is not an essential requirement when it comes to hosting. As for DD,combination of her nervousness and bad lines provided by the writer made it a complete disaster,though she was looking great. She will eventually become more confident but the dialogue writers of the show need to stop potraying her as this dumb diva...give her good lines atleast! It doesn't matter whether someone's new or experienced,hosting is not some talent hunt competition to give new talent chance! Ur aim is to connect the show people with the audience and if u can't do so,u will be disliked,simple! I wish Mona Singh and Rohit roy had been brought back...they made the perfect hosts,that's why they were asked to host jdj twice!

guys it was her first attempt as host and dd has a lot of potential to improve,she's an entertainer.

It was the first episode.

@ all who think its their duty to bash her-who give a damn to you guys.

Bring ANYONE to host from the industry and they will do it good as long as they are scripted well.

Aise toh kisi ko bhi uthalo aur script dedo host kar dege.

Script mein dam hona chaiye bas. Chaiye host jo bhi ho.

But one thing I don't get is why are their expressions so different? They don't flow. Drashti looks super happy and Ranvir looks tired and bored. 😕

Is that in the script too? 😲 I can't comment on that because I'm really confused. This hosting will drive us mad. 😆

nope i dont agree PP... hosting is a difficult task and you need to be impromto and your comic timing should be great... i still have hopes for RS but DD i dont think her comic timing was god... she blanked out many times and stuck suddenly between the dialogues. not anybody can be a good host...giving retakes are easy task but hosting is damn tough
