I guess if the judges didn't mind, we shouldn't either.

Well at work even our managers are called by their name, so what is the big deal if she calls Madhuri by her name. I mean if I see a film star no way am I going to call them ji ja ju. Hell even my fave srk is not a srk ji to me.

I don't know why some Drashti fans are taking this topic so personally and making smartass remarks like "isn't her name Madhuri'

@Shaitan-haiwan its not about DD fan over reacting, but if anyone is older to us we do give them respect by calling them aunty/uncle. The point here is that DD is criticized from head to toe by people who dislike her. It has made the DDians a bit defensive because any topic where she is mentioned, her bashing starts. And personally its DD's choice or script choice that she called Madhuri as Madhuri.

We all know what her name is, the point is Madhuri is quite older than Drashti, would it kill her to show some respect and say Madhuri-ji?

Do you guys call your uncles and aunts by their names? Do you call your friends parents by their names? I highly doubt so, similiarly, I feel it would be nice if Drashti at least said Madhuri-ji, would she become less human if she did that?

I don't know why some fans here are overreacting. Its quite normal in Indian culture to add a ji.
