This time they are constantly harping on making everything about the show , international ...so thats why no JI

Another thing I noticed , first time they have started calling Madhuri Dixit Nene as MD.

Besides , who knows, madhuri herself , doesnt want drashti and others to call her Ji or maam...she doesnt want to look old haggard lady...the way she is dressing and acting now.

i am the biggest fan of madhuri..and i am neutral towards drashti, have not seen any of her tv serial even..

Again, I have to reiterate that I only noticed this and pointed it out Theres no secret agenda. Think about it? What would I get by pointing this point? Its not a big deal its just something I noticed since MANY other people say Madhuri-ji.

I understand it would've been nice of Drashti to add the 'ji' out of respect but she's the host. The hosts and judges develop a certain professional relationship with one another where such formality is not required.

And as a host, she needs to be relatable to the audience in order for us to connect with the content. I, personally would never use 'ji' for my favourite celeb/famous personality. I'm more able to relate to her when she uses merely 'Madhuri'. But of course, that's me. Maybe that's not you.

Maybe when you get the chance to meet your favourite celebrity, you'll use 'ji', but I'll be the ones that'll call them by just their name.

It's a matter of perspective. Everyone has a different opinion on this. I don't think either opinion is wrong.

What if they were told to call them by their names only?
