QFor the first time, you will be hosting two shows. What drew you to Shaadi 3 Crore Ki?
I got a call from SOL India (the production house) asking me whether I would be interested in hosting a real-life marriage show. I liked the concept. I am a Punjabi and it's a Punjabi wedding.

Q How fat is Shaadi 3 Crore Ki going to be?
It is going to be a big fat wedding. The boy is from Delhi and the girl from Ambala. Both are from middle-class families and it's an arranged marriage.

Q How will the money be spent?
It's an opulent wedding and they have to spend every pie of the three crore. The wedding invitation, which normally costs '25 to '50, will be worth '5,000. The bride will get 25 sets of jewelry against 2 or 3 in a normal middle-class wedding. The food menu will have 250 dishes from all over the world. So money is going to flow like water.

Q What was the criterion for choosing the couple?
I really don't know because it's been done by the production house. But I guess a middle-class background and Delhi as the venue might have been taken into account.

Q As host, what is your level of involvement?
It's not a typical hosting job because there is no script. I am part of the girl's family and my co-host Ali (Asgar) will be on the boy's side.

Q When are you planning to settle down?
I have not planned to settle down yet.

Q After a promising TV debut in Jassi why have you kept away from serials?
I love to act but haven't found an interesting script yet. But I don't want to quit TV. So I am fine with reality shows.

Q Don't you think Jhalak 4 is the best season so far?
I think the first season in which I participated and the latest season are the best ones.

Q Who you think deserves to win?
My favourite is Chang.

Q Isn't Yana Gupta the best dancer on the show?
She is the most consistent one. But Chang is excellent and I want him to win.
