Renuka's performance was cute....I was thoroughly entertained by it...her concept was good, the choreographer was sweet and some of the effects were good too

comapred to Sushant and Ragini however I did think that she was a bit weaker if only comparing the dancing ability itself....because the other two passed her in dancing ability...but in Renuka's act the concept and the utilization of her cuteness paid off

but Shekhar was so stiff and conscious...HOW did he get the highest is still surprising me

^exactly...I thought Yana was better than Shekhar...she had more grace and flexibility....I mean I dont know squat about dancing but as a viewer I was more entertained by Yana and Renuka than Shekhar

I really liked Yana's and Anukshas iono why i think i liked the concept of there alot

I love Renuka as an actress and as a person, but she really did not deserve such high scores. Had she got a 20 it would have looked like due appreciation for the effort she and Jay put in. Ragini and Sushant are the most promising dancers so far, but their choreographers need to get their act together.

And Shekhar....ummm ummm 😕...he reminds me of Mahesh Manjrekar in season 1, whom the blatantly biased judges gave highest marks just for walking around the stage.

Anyway, the public verdict can turn things completely around; so let's just wait and watch.

The star of Renuka's act was Jay's choreography.....that is the difference a great choreographer can make.....to creatively choreograph a person according to their strengths and weaknesses....everything flowed very well....it was cute and Renuka actually surprised me....despite being a complete non-dancer, she did manage to do pretty well or maybe again, it's the magic of Jay's choreography that came through....all in all, it was a charming and cute act and I think that's what the judges ended up being a bit biased towards.

Regarding the comparison with other contestants.....I do think Sushant was shortchanged....the 6 from Remo was seriously ridiculous....so yes even while Renuka's act was good, Sushant's was very good too....nicely choreographed again and well performed too.....he definitely deserved higher scores.

Ragini's act wasn't that well choreographed....like Malaika pointed out, there were too many static/still points in it where nothing was happening dancing-wise....the concept was kinda muddled too....some co-ordination issues were there as well....even then her scores were too low....she deserved more than a 19....it wasn't that bad of an act also.

Sushant deserved more points definitely! As for Ragini, I love her but I personally didn't like her performance very much..I felt that she was let down by not-so-good choreography more than anything else..

Exactly.....Renuka's act was quite sweet and in some bits toh I was surprised with how sharp and well she was matching with Jai in some sharp back and forth movements....I guess she's a hard worker and Jai is a very good choreographer to pull this out of her.

Sushant was totally shortchanged and it was veryyyyyyy obvious.....dunno what made Remo give him that 6😕.....the choreography for the act was so good too.

Ragini's adorable but that act had some major problems....starting with choreography....Ragini's biggest plus points are her expressions and the joy and energy with which she dances....however flow is a major problem and her choreographer needs to understand that....he's a good dancer himself but it is more important to make Ragini's moves look smoother....there were far too many clumsy bits in that act....from the dips to the lifts to some co-ordination issues....Ragini needs to work on her form and posture a lot.....Madhuri's comment about Ragini's expressions was apt....that was the only saving grace of that act for me.

Jai is a very good choreographer..he used to choreograph his own solos in DID 1 and his solos were fab! Plus he did a great job with the kids in DIDLM. I trust him..he'll make Renuka a better dancer by the end of it. and Renuka is a very hard-working person. I have hopes from her..I just hope they don't get kicked off too early..unless they really do deserve to go..par I am gonna be biased to them also..I love Jai and I have an emotional attachment to Renuka..she's the first person to have made me cry on screen..😭😆

I guess Remo expected more from Sushant because Sushant is a trained jazz dancer? But a 6 is a little too low 😕

Oh yeah! Ragini's expressions saved the dance for me! Otheriwse I was kinda disappointed..her choreographer needs to step it up..

^now that I saw Ragini's performance again...I do see where she lacked...I still think she deserved a higher score than 19....a 21 or 22 at the most...but 19 is too low

marks are scored by her bec of her talented choreographer Jai.. he managed her weight and given the steps which can match up with it .. there was not many mistakes.. she may look odd though.. but as jai said, if she manages to reduce weight i am sure we can except a very good performance from her..
