Frankly i liked all the concepts of all the contestants....

GK was the best...

Karan------ all concepts were good....only he screwed up the last one...his first performance he went away from the song in the middle....the bull fight....it was appropriate....!!! Being his supporter doesnt mean i go blind n dont c his faults.....!!!!

BB-------i dont look at him much....i saw his dard-e disco which was god though i didnt c expressions.......the Kaise mujhe tum....i liked only Sonia...he as a man used his strengths.....n danced a bit.....jumping abt i could c....table to chair to table...!!!

the Bhangra....well i liked GK's better in the beginning...Sonia played safe.....thats good.....its better that way......!!!

my POV

GK was the BEST👍🏼

Karan was better in the bull fight coz he danced.....CONCEPT wise.....BB n Sonia were stronger....!!! in Kisna....Karan;'s concept waqs stronger which he didnt carry off towards the end i agree.....n Sonia Bhangra was safe......

.Lik in Karan's tere bin....even Nicole did everything....!!!! n today....Sonia did everything

The prob with BB n Sonia is ...Sonia is merely distracting the judges by the concept......they are so attracted with it that they miss out lot of other things

I think the Bhangra performance was really a safe choice by Sonia too which was definitely not at the standards of a "finals" performance.
Gauhar did an amazing job but the concepts were copied..and this in my opinion raises a problem since she wanted to change choreographer's because she thought Hanif was incapable of bringing in his own choreography to the performances..how is copying ideas from other shows, or just lifting performances altogether any different even if they were executed beautifully?
The same goes for Karan's contemporary performance (soldier theme..can't remember which week) also the Bull Fight song which a fellow forum member just posted the link of in another post. Also Soniya Baichung's contemporary of a few weeks ago. Are the judges oblivious or are they choosing to keep a blind eye..because when someone as capable and widely acknowledged as Vaibhavi says Ive never seen something like that on TV it has to be truly original..I wouldnt be surprised if I see this concept on youtube on another international show.

in the show yesterday, after the table routine, vaibhavi told sonia that she had to dance with baichung for 2 minutes and it was impossible to keep to the beat. so how does sonia do it? and then they gave them 40? for a person who according to them does not dance to the beat? i have the highest respects for baichung and sonia, for the dignity with which they carry themselves..and the fact that he represents the country on an international level only serves to add further to that respect.. but while many on the forum are confused whether this is a dance show or a popularity show, im confused whether we are judging the celebrity here or the choreographer.

very well put Anisha...exactly the question i wanted to pose...and i agree that Baichung and Sonia carry themselves in a very dignified manner...and she does make him do things he would not have deemed possible a couple of months ago, but the competition is between the contenders and their skills, not the choreographers and their intelligence...although that has alot to do with how the contestant performs, the finale should at least have space for the contestant to be viewed independent of his/her choreographer, even when the two share the stage...and this is for the judges to do, if they choose to do it...
@xaneroyxx...and i completely agree with the technicalities point...although isn't it kind of ironic that they are overlooked at the stage when they should really be firmly kept in perspective...? i mean, it is the Finale after all...it should get tougher on the go, not easier...and yes, if yesterday is anything to go by, it is Gauhar who really deserves the trophy...she totally killed it with all three performances of hers, and there was no technicality missing, for it to be overlooked at all...Karan and Baichung i would place at the same level...Baichung had it better in terms of routines yesterday (along with scores...ahem), and Karan muddled it up for his last performance, although he is definitely the better dancer of the two...now let's see which way Fortune's wheel spins...😊

oh i so love ur post...i think u have explained each and every point so clearly...so first of all a BIG thank u...now coming to yesterdays performances yes i agree gauhar stole the show yesterday she was terrific without doubt..but when u compare baichung and karan i think karan was better..in the first act where they were doing solo performances i found baichung alittle lost without sonia...karan was way better...and finally may the best person win yes karan has been weak in terms of scores but he has improved quite alot since day1...

Agree...none of the performances apart from maybe Gauhar's second one on Jiya Jale, was Finale worthy...they were all good, but not like the ultimate routines you'd want to present, as a final chance to make or break you, as a contender in a competition...
and i had no idea Gauhar's was copied...was it? as for Karan and Nicole's, it was a Paso Doble...and all Paso Dobles have the same theme : the Bullfighter with his Cape...you can Google it, if you like...although yes, his military theme contemporary performance last week was a similar concept used quite often, i don't think last night's qualifies as a copy...😊

Again, partiality aside there's no doubt that Baichung is lost without his choreographer. We musn't forget that Karan has the bonus of being a perfomer on some level so the weirdness factor is not really there...

and to reply to nandinidev both your comments are very true. The comments seem to be mainly directed at the choreographers first and foremoset and then at the contestants..Gauhar killed it, she's a great dancer..however, since you said that it is the finale and a certain standard should be maintained and technicalities should not be over looked ..why is it that concepts, steps, and even props are being copied without the slightest objection from any of the judges, channel producers, or the junta. I think this is a serious issue of credibility..
I mean imagine if this happened on a dancing with the stars, what would be the consequences?

Passo Doble's have the same theme but do they have the same steps? Gauhar and Hard Kaur did Passo Doble..but there was a bit of variation in their performances. I am not singling Karan out. I am just pointing out the fact that out of all three seasons this season copying has occurred quite often among some contestants.

hey...😊 i'm not saying that you're singling Karan out...i know you're not, in any way...i rased this particular point only because there had been a similar discussion on Hard Kaur's Paso Doble as having been copied...and most people raised objections based on the Bullfight theme...i have not seen the performance Karan's is said to have been copied from, so i can't comment fairly until i have...i had seen the DID one HK's was compared to, though, and that was very different...😊 i appreciate the neutrality of this post, and am commenting in the same spirit, as i have always attempted to do...

see that's the point.. how long will you keep making exceptions for one contestant because he or she is not related to this field.. this makes sense in the first few rounds.but not after the wild card..after that, u enter into the final stages..and in the semi finals and finals its absolutely unpardonable.. what is the use of giving the trophy to a performer who need his choreographer to mask him and give him the simplest of steps..who choreographs in such a way that the judges fail to see anything beyond it.. we talk scores, the statistics show baichung is a better dancer than hard kaur and gauhar.. it really reflect horribly on the judging and i have no words to express how appaled i am.
