just for clarification...Karan did not back out or anything, so how can you say he's darpok...just to face criticism with smile is a victory in itself...you have right to not like him and no one can stop you...but it's just us as fans and humans feel that whatever done was not right...i would have felt the same if it was some other contestant in place of karan for being ridicule b/c of popularity...

err mixed feeling here. I do think the awakening was somewhat necessary. It is true! because Karan stays, a better dancer has to go out. Bias aside Shilpa and Monica are far far better dancers than Karan. Bias aside Nicole is absolutely nothing compared to Javed and Nishant. Both of the choreographers were absolutely brilliant, innovative and awesome.

Finally a post that makes sense. A post that does not bring along with it a Karan craze or a Karan prejudice. either way, when celebrities are signed on for reality shows, they have to put up with their share of brickbats, but there is always a limit to even what one is subjected to...

This is not a talent hunt. This is not like Indian Idol where Voting determines who is the most talented. A celebrity brings along with him/her a popularity baggage which is what celebrity shows are all about. Why bring in celebrities, advocate voting for your favorite, and then complain when the celebrity does well.

Karan may not be the best dancer on the show, but the show is not purely about the best dancing celebrity. If that were the case, the concept of public voting wouldn't exist. Once the concept of public voting for CELEBRITIES is in place, there is no point complaining that a particular celebrity gets too many votes. Complain when the voting is for ordinary talented people and when voting depends on whether or not that person's talent gets its due, like on Indian Idol, else all this noise about Karan's fan base makes no sense.

Karan was invited to the show based on his poularity and the show has enjoyed the fruit of his popularity for long. This controversy is just maximising on exposure and furthering the exploitation of Karan's fan base.

Also I think the past two weeks have been about Karan for a specific reason. Of the popular celebrities that remain on the show, Hard Kaur has made it clear that her days of openly saying what is on her mind are over, sensationalizing Parul's black magic and breakdowns have lost their appeal, Bhaichung is hardly around and Gauhar seems to be have turned over a new diplomatic leaf...where she now refuses to make controversial statements. The remaining scapegoat is Karan, who did not react as expected to his dostana VTs or those with Nicole.

The team has been able get little on the compulsory mike that contestants have to wear, as far as Karan is concerned. Even the guard issue did not result in a tantrum from Karan. He has been difficult to ruffle and right now the JDJ team is trying everything in their power to unsettle him...

i have nothing against karan.. i love him but according to me he deserves to go out and only out not be humiliated infront of national television! its disgusting actually.. i hope more that he gets out just so he can stay away from this crap because karan is not going to back out himself! and we know nothing is wrong with nicole cuz last jhalak she was with ronit and he was my favorite!
