I just couldn't stop writing this. I am no fan of Karan. Never watched a single episode of DMG. But I knew that he exists.
To all those who are fighting for him, go ahead. No one deserves to insulted like this on National TV. Sony has shown utter unprofessionalism about handling TV star's reputation. Karan singh from the beginning had been at the receiving end of all the gay crap, which I am sure was an "innovative" idea of some JDJ creatives. Well from my experience I know thats how TV works.
JDJ picks up stars based on their popularity always. Season 1 Mona, non dancer. Season 2 Prachi, non dancer. And its all TRP game. This year they got 3 big names in TV, Karan , Ram, Parul. They made a stupid joke out of Karan and Ram's friendship. They made conspiracys about Parul's sickness. This season has the most unfriendly faces in the judges panel I am sorry to say. When Baichung was absent in 2 elimination episodes and never even did lip sync, surprisingly judges don't notice it. However till date his performance wasn't anything close to extra ordinary. Hard Kaur is seriously talented and she actually throws herself out there in the stage with all she got. But apart from last two performances , nothing was remmeber-worthy. Parul is trying hard to break her image, I guess she is following Prachi Desai track. But all her good attempts are rubbished. last year Prachi was encouraged and appreciated for her dance more. Gauhar, the water tank. Yes she dances well. Not something out of the box. Karan, yes he is "mascular" and "popular" and non dancer. But hey! Isn't this what SONY wanted??!!
We have seen Shweta dance. Seen Rohit too. They both are senior to Karan. How could they agree to the script given to them, where first 20 mins was aimed at humiliating a fellow actor by singing "Pappu cant dance"?! As I said , this season none of them are extra ordinary dancers. So dance isn't gripping audience anymore. With the loosing TRP , SONY now seeks shelter in utter humiliation?
I wont even list down how credible judges are. I wont even say a word about their present career. And these host's mindless hosting of the show, should be left for your judgement. But to all those who are so eager to comment on other threads that, "it's just Karan-fan's problem, he deserves to go out", my dear, let me assure you one thing, if you don't protest this kind of humiliation on TV today, tomorrow it will be easier for them tease Baichung, insult Parul...and every one else.
Karan faced it that shouldn't be the point. The quality of TV we see today has decreased, that should you all Anti-Karan s should support.
