I came across a paragraph while reading Dale Carnegie's book. Followed by the examples of many successful and great men, Carnegie wrote:
"When you are kicked and criticized, remember that it is oftern done because it gives the kicker a feeling of importance. It means that you are accomplishing something and are worthy of attention. Many people get a sense of savage satisfaction out of denouncing those who are better educated than they are or more successful."
Karan Grover's reactions to the criticism and to the odd situation that he faced was singled out as an impressive act.
The manner of answering the questions of the hosts was impeccable. His answers were neither attacking any fellow contestant, nor were they 'excuses'. He is a man of wisdom. Not all people know how to answer odd questions.
Karan Grover is worth admiring. I admire him.
