Acha...I like Shweta and Rohit....I have nothing against them.....aur Karan ke liye pray karne ke liye thank you very much....I appreciate it.....I was very impressed with his restrained and mature response to the those unclassy comments.....he proved what he had to prove by "dancing" and getting a 29.....but thanks for the prayers....every little bit helps!

Yes I have watched Dancing with the stars and their level of dancing is incomparable.....theirs is the real dancing....no one in Jhalak can even come close.....I never compared Jhalak to its American version anywho..........The winner of 1st season of dancing with the star...Kelly Monoca....way more popular than the rest in season 1 ofcourse that does not mean that she was not a good dancer...she was but she was popular as well..
Seanon 2....winner Nick Lachey's brother....Drew Lachey....member of 98 degrees.....popular among grils...cute looking....hit among women.....of course a good dancer....but way more popular than others in the group.....season 3 winner Emmit Smith....a football player....not as good as Mario Lopez,,,,,who was the runner's up.....So yes American public compared to its Indian counterparts are not that celebrity centric but ultimately popularity is a key factor....hell 2008 winner was Kristi Yamaguchi....an olympic gold medalist...i mean all patriots are gonna vote for her...she was a figure skater.....of course she could dance....

Public voting is there for people to decicde who they wanna vote for....period. If Karan fans want to vote for Karan....why stop them.....they want to support him and they have all the right to do so....they like his dancing....you don't that's fine....no one is telling you to vote for him.....if you are hell bent at comparing Jhalak to its American counterpart then hell no one in Jhalak can dance.....even the level of choreographers is crap comapred to Cherly Burke or Juliana Hough....

Voting is individualistic......it's on the public.....they will vote for who they like.....it's that simple!

@dua_44ever thank you very much! I honestly enjoy Dancing with the Stars more than Jhalak....I think the judges are more qualifed on dancing with the stars as well.

@Alias: Dude I hope I answered your question, I did not have to do research coz I watch the show....also if you wanna see dancing I suggest watching America's Best Dance Crew on MTV.....that show is sick!!!!!!!!!! I love it....you'll see hip hop, street dancing.......tap dancers...cheer leaders...everything...check out jabbawockeez on youtube!

Do you think they'd win only on basis of popularity had they been a mediocre performer? I dont think so....

America's Best Dance Crew all the contestants are unknown random people.....hence popularity does not factor in but shows like Dancing with the Stars, Jhalak, Nach Baliye and others where known personals take on the dance floor...popularity becomes a big factor....thats the honest truth....and the people creating the show know this....you know they were thinking of signing Stevie Wonders for Dancing with the Stars....now really....Stevie Wonders???? The man cannot see....why was he in mind....votes...money...trp....endless things....hell they wanted to sign Cyndie McCain...right after the presidential election....it's all about how many viewers you can bring in and how much revenue can you create....it's all money bro....
