Isha Sharvani not to perform this week in JDJ

We had reported last week that Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 5 contestant Isha Sharvani had injured her elbow while rehearsing with the international dancers who will perform along with final six on Tuesday (recording of elimination and performance round episode which will be telecast oncoming Saturday).

Then it was speculated that Isha might not be able to stay on in the competition as her doctor had recommended her four weeks of rest. But now we have confirmed information that Isha will skip this week's performance and hit the dance floor in the coming week. The channel (Colors) and the production house (BBC Worldwide) have decided to give her time to recuperate and skip this week's performance.

Hence' for this Tuesday's act, her choreographer and partner Salman Yusuff Khan will just dance with the foreign guests and will not be marked. The channel seems to be quite happy with this couple for this is the second time that either Isha or Salman have been given time to recoup from injuries. We wonder how the other five contestants must be feeling about this decision of the channel and production house.

Both Isha and Salman were not available for comment but this very popular and talented pair is going to address the media today to speak about Isha's accident. We will bring you more updates as the day progresses.

However, i remember reading somewhere about JDJ's format that if a participant skips, he/she is liable to elimination! anyways.I am not a basher, and have no intention of bashing Isha. in fact, I think that Isha is a terrific dancer, way ahead of any contestant in this show, in fact I think she would give tough competetion to Madhuri herself in her genre! I was just talking about the format!

I remember Pratyusha had said that she wasn't sure if she could continue, and then a source close to her had said that since she wouldn't be performing, she would be naturally eliminated!

Do not club every person as a basher without knowing his/her intentions first! I have no wish of bashing anyone, as thats not my taste! Even if I don't like someone, i don't stoop low and bash!
