Now for Gurmeet, i would never vouch for this guy,..but then he is attempting things...he is trying to put some hardwork and working to make himself a bit loose...When i say this i never meant Isha is not clean..she is the queen of whatever she does...but then i want more...i need to see her in new avtar's...

i dont think so he is doing any hard work ...all act , tuff steps shammpa karti hai , same stiff posture , same wave , action based act with diffrent costume n makeup , consept ...if acco to u ye versatility hai then what can i say here

for me he is the biggest boring contestent with same style act

as this will be my first post in IF. I want to tell that todays dance of Isha was more like several forms/positions of kamasutra. their dance style were absolutely "Erotic yoga" as karan said.

The discussion was going great when once again people start trying to shove their opinions on other people. This is the same old fight, please agree to disagree and stop fighting as doing so is not going to change anyone's opinions! Furthermore, DO NOT bring other contestants into the conversation with the same ol' intent to instigate. This topic was made about Isha - talk about her and if you want to talk about someone else, there are hundreds of posts on the forum about those contestants as well. Comments and posts that talk about other contestants in an effort to instigate or hurt other members/fan groups may be deleted without any notice or explanation. Topic being watched. -JDJ5 DT

OK I just wanted to ask, who's actually, genuinely versatile in the current bunch of JDJ?

Rithvik specialises in Hip Hop, so his acts has hip hop flavours in it - he tried contemporary and his weakness came out, so he'll most probably go back to his strong points, so hip hop flavours is what we'll see... So his hip hop routine is monotoned in his performances...

Karan - I keep seeing him in contemporary - once again he too tried to do something different with the Charlie Chaplin act, but flaws came out, so we saw him go back to contemporary. His body language doesn't always favour him, so what could be great comes out average... Contemporary is a monotonous factor with him...

Bharti - now if someone should win, it should be her coz the woman has kinda sorta tried everything, given her size (and no disrespect to her size)... comedy and sometimes over comedy is monotonous with her...

Gurmeet - his performances has been likable and he has really worked hard in his presentation and acts... I don't know exactly what but theatrical performances are alittle monotonous with him...

Rashmi - she's on a Madhuri-jaap and is good with expressions and body language and knows classical, and that has helped her immensely. But during her performances one feels like being on a roller coaster ride - it goes up on technicalities and down on energy!

lastly Isha - she has done more or less everything - Bollywood, paso doble, Salsa, Argentine tango, Waltz, puppet act, contemporary, lyrical contemporary, Solstrom, which is a Cirque du Soleil inspired performance involving alot of contortions and flexing... in every style/genre, one thing that stood out was her flexibility!

so who exactly is versatile?

and now next week we'll be seeing the international choreographers performing with our celebrities... from the promos, we already seen hints of salsa and tango...

only versatilities in this show i have seen was with Prachi Desai and even Mona Singh... even Baichung Bhutia had some ranges... oh and Hard Kaur... I think she's the best celebrity Savio had in his entire JDJ journey...

But yeah... who's versatile?

Agree with everything except for the bold part. And thanks for this post, hope people can see that everyone will stick to their best even if you were to give it any name, you'll always see a specific dancing style in all the contestants, if you wanna call it monotonous, so be it !!!

good question... i watch only performances by certain contestants every week but from what i have seen most of them have some or the other strength which they end up using in most of their performances... be it isha's flexibility, bharti's comedy, gurmeet's expressions and so on... but gurmeet and bharti aren't dancers and their choreographers attempt to try different dance forms with them... isha's the one criticized the most because being a dancer, there is certain level of versatility in dance forms that is expected of her... and when salman and her use her flexibility in every dance form they attempt, it ends up looking redundant... also the judges have put her on such a high pedestal since the beginning of the show that people expect them to be the best... and when they dont see the perfection that the judges seem to see in her, she gets criticized...
