I know what your saying!

Its not necessarily what he's saying or how his facial expressions are. He just has that aura of being a little rude or arrogant. I am not sure if he actually is like that or he's just coming off like that but yeah I see what yoru saying@

Kids normally behave the way darsheel does... So he is not rude... But ur topic made me to see the old episode was he rude or not...

He replies really rudely to the hosts, especially when they pull his leg.

Still not making it any clearer. I can't think of one incident where he was insolent, as you put it.

I never thought he was rude or insolent. He might come off that way, because he's not as humble as some of the other contestants. However, not being humble is not a bad thing in my opinion. He seems extremely confident, but I never felt like he said or did anything that crossed the line.

He sometimes gives back answers to Manish...cos he always do tang khichai of him...[in many instances, one of them was when he wanted to be heard why he wants to be like ritwik] that too in masti mood...
But I dont count it as rude...

I don't know if rude is wht I would call it, but last week I did see a glimpse of irritation on Darsheel's face a couple of times. It was whn the judges commented on his performance, he had a kind of cynical look like "yeah right!" and also whn the judges announced his marks. Also I guess he's not amused by Manish's leg pulling and it's ok as he's a kid.
