As far as KJo being a judge in this show is concerned, he himself said that he does not know the nitigrities of dance and its forms at the onset, for which the likes of Remo and Madhuri(who I think is not a pro is western dance forms) are present in the judges panel...but he is here to judge the other aspects of dance like its conceptualization, presentation, emotions etc, which I'm sure he knows very well...For me his movies have always been a stress buster however silly or illogical they might be in certain aspects, some larger than life, some closer to real life(Wake up Sid being my favorite)...If Isha is a pro in dancing, KJo is a pro in entertainment/direction, which we cannot take away from him and entertainment is one of the important aspects of this show... there cannot be pure dance without entertainment in a show like JDJ...Isha does not have the vision that KJo has...similarly vice versa holds true...It's like comparing 2 professions which are related in certain aspects...Isha herself said she does not know much about horror for which Salman is present to guide her...that's the main gist behind the show and for judging them or any other celebrity & a professional choreographer as a team KJo is not a bad choice for the reasons I have mentioned...Like they say there is a some difference between a dancer and a choreographer otherwise why would they be two different words...just for the heck of it...I don't think so...same applies to a director and a dancer...My $0.02😊

PS: Please don't start comparing KJo with any other director in Indian film industry or Hollywood for that matter.

I agree with the topic maker...Her performances have been gr8, but she is a professional dancer...not just trained, professional...she dances for a living and acts as a "side by side" thing and not the other way around like the other celebs on the show who do other stuff for a living and perhaps have learnt dancing as a hobby or a recreational activity...Isha pretty much is on par with a choreographer in tht sense because dancing has been her profession, so it is unfair on the other contestants...its like putting Sonu nigam in indian idol as a contestant and asking the regulars to compete...

Dance is an unforgiving and physically taxing art. If you don't practice for a week it shows in your body. So even if JayatiB learned Odissi, if she hasn't practiced in a while her body is not going to do what she tells it to right off the bat. Isha, on the other hand is lightening her load, doing just one 3 minute performance per week as opposed to 2 hour productions, travelling all over the country and world. There is a difference between having been trained once, going to classes, and being a dancer. There is no way to compare Jayati or GC's training with Isha's. It is simply not the same and that is a fact. As far as I know, Isha dances pretty much 24/7, which cannot be compared to people who do it on the side, along with their day job.

Sorry but that just doesn't seem right. No offense to her fans but she can't dance, she tries yes but she dances like she's been forced. And what's this nonsense every other week - she's too tired or she's sick and what not?

I agree with Madhuri 100% - when you perform you forget everything and just think of dance. Remo hit the nail on the head - Isha and Salman work hard and it shows - no excuses no tiredness nothing! Again, no offense to Pratyusha fans but it seems like she's out to get the sympathy votes.

The eliminations have been good so far - personally I thought Sanath JS and Archana were fine to leave. All the below par performers should go and THEN the show will really get interesting!

👏 That is what I always feel since this season started.Isha is professionally a dancer and acting is her secondary choice.If am not wrong then Isha is having more than one dance academies in India.In time of her first bollywood movie there were news that she knows multiple dance forms which are very rare.So having her in a dance competition and comparing her with gurmeet/gia/pratyusha is pretty unfair.

ISHA is very good,..today,.okay,.agreed she is s a trained dancer,..but salman had a capability to use her dance skill,.and others are also doing good job,.jia is very good yesterday,..i am a big fan of gia,guru,prat and bharathi,.but yeaterday,...guru,gia and bharathi did so well,.Gia didn't made herself fool,..she did a comic,..type dance,.so she had to do,.and she succeed,...pratyusha also very graceful dancer,..but yesterday,..ya she little slow,.but she bounce back,.If a contestant gave agood performance then pleae appreciate him ..or..her,.don't put negativity,.and isha is fantastic yesterday,..

i agree...i mean, if isha competing in the competetion is fair,then we might aswell have remo,vaibhavi, Shamak Davar, Terence, prabhu deva and everyone else joining in as "contestants"...

I know these ppl are having their own dance academies and they themselves train ppl to dance.
