Hey, I just saw a couple of episodes of the Spanish version of Jassi and i was so surprised to see that not only have T & D copied the story line but also the looks. jassi looks exactly like betty except that Betty left her hair open and Jassi ties it up. trust me there is no other difference. she has same hairstyle, i think same hair length as well, same glasses and same braces as Betty. I didn't know that they copied the looks as well.

honestly i couldn't follow it properly, firstly because it was in Spanish and secondly, my brother was flipping thru the channels. There was a scene which I remember clearly where armando was kissing betty and then someone came into armando's cabin, maybe mallika or someone, couldn't make out and then betty hid besides the wall.

I have to watch this...more than that...I have make my hubby watch it....hehehe...

I like Salma Hayak...she is so cute...

Jassi's look is all like betty the only difference I can note is Betty has bit more weight than Jassi and Jassi is much prettier than betty...

Jeni, the last I heard, these rumors were still afloat but it makes no sense to have a well known actress play the role of Betty......with JJKN, I must say Sony and T&D did a great job of keeping Jassi an unknown....so that even when people had figured out that it was actually Mona Singh, they were intrigued as to how she will look all dolled up.....

maybe u r right Jeni....what I meant was that in BLF, the entire storyline was unique....in JJKN, which is an adaptation, Jassi and her identity become the pulling force.......with Salma Hayek version, I find it hard to see what would pull the show together......u know the storyline.....the actress is no unknown to u....so what is the attraction...😕

Yeah, I'm sure it will be interesting to those who haven't seen BLF or JJKN....they don't know the storyline, so I'm sure ppl will be interested.... anything comes(crap) on t.v. nowadays and becomes a hit, with the great story of BLF, I'm sure it'll work....

well, i don't care if they Tony and Diya has copied it. Atleast they copied the good one. And there are many indians who couldn't see the original version, so the idea of JJKN is totally new to them. I think we should thank T&D for that.
