aishah,I used to love the old Jassi and was proud of her..

WHEN she challenged Armaan and became the CEO of GM.. She created a line of clothes for working class woman... she showed Armaan than she can run a company better than him...She actually showed what an intelligent person she was....

I loved that Jassi when she adored her boss, loved her boss but still exposed him in the board meeting and punished him for treating her badly...She showed what a strong person she was and cant be treated as a doormat anymore...👏👏

I loved that Jassi who played the game back on Armaan and later on forgave him...That should what a big heart she had... I love that Jassi who later accepted Armaan with all his flaws and decided to give him another chance...she was in my good books inspite of being ugly...👏

But after the makeover she has become a selfish woman who only thinks about herself.. She has a big fat ego and always takesoff when somebody questions her...She proves to be a coward now who is a hypocrite who can change identites so easily.. and only remembers babaji and her old parents when she needs them....

Jassi's character is completely butchered.... The minute she took off on the day of the wedding and let her parents suffer the humiliation she lost all her respect and love from the viewers...

IF she didnt want to marry Armaan...and was mad at him.. she should have held Armaan by the throat asked him questions for suspecting her... slapped him back and broke of the wedding in front of everybody... took her parents along with her and then left off to Nainital to cool off or become a teacher or whatever...Thats what a modern woman with self respect will do....

But now she has become a person who constantly runs away from her problems and lets her parents suffer... who only gives lambe lambe bhashans on middle class values...and always blames others for her mistakes... I have no sympathy for that woman PERIOD...😡Too bad Armaan still loves her...

..Well JD its a shame that jassi is in the hands of tnd otherwise im sure she wud have done as u say-afsos yaar-i respect jassis decision to be able to walk away frm armaan-a decision that wud have been extremely painful to make-i cnt really justify her running away but then what wud have happened if she had stayed?-her parents wud have probably had to suffer the same humiliation that they did-if jassi had stayed she wud have declined marriage to armaan-cjs letter wud have come into the picture at some point, the guy is a psycho, he probbaly wud have told armaan that all what he saw was the truth-then where wud that have left jassi-unfortunatley us asians still find fault with the girl and jassi wud have suffered the same fate that so many badkismat ppl do in the subcontinent..

..as for her parents-jassi always found herself to be the root cause of much of the anguish and humiliation that her family had to face-this wud kill any person whose family holds such an important position in their life-even i myself wud do nething to put an end to the suffering my family has to face if i was the cause-even if it meant running away-i cnt really answer if what jassi did was the right thing as i myself am of the fortunate few who dnt find themselves in such horrible dilemmas..

..also i never really considered jassi to be a role model-she was always just a normal person for me who had dreams and ambitions just like myself-her status in my eyes was never of a role model as she just tried to accomplish what all of us try to do-she didnt achieve great things like gandhiji or nelson mandela-i guess this is where we find it hard to accept jassi post makeover-she erred and made some terrible decisions-but behind those decisions there lie not selfish intent but genuine concern for her loved ones..

..in short somewhere in this very alone lost woman lies the jassi we all loved so much and in my case still do-life changes us and circumstances change..lol sorry for my lng reply but i hope now u cn understand y i still love this nut job and her even sillier lover!😛

I still love her sillier, impulsive lover....😳 and inspite of my hatred towards Jassi, I still want Jassi and Armaan to reunite... I feel both of them are imperfect humans are incomplete without each other...

Yes it all happened only because of the makers mainly Tarun K and Gursheel walia.. I never blamed the actors or characters as they are just mere puppets in the hands of the makers.....😡🤢

They purposely did that so that Jassi gets a lot of sympathy...And this is what you get from Indian soaps makers...🤢

I still cant agree on her running away...I never ever blamed Jassi alone.. the wedding fiasco was both Armaan and Jassi's fault...because of their excellent communications skills 😉and riddly dialogues...

And yes I agree even if she had got back at armaan she and her parents would had to face humiliation from the suri's.... who didnt leave a single chance to insult the walia...I would have really felt for her then... poor girl treated badly again... and now she is still shown blaming everything on armaan alone....and her running away cant be justified at all.....

Its hilarious how she compares herself to Sita and Armaan as Ram... She is no Sita..and Armaan never claimed he was Ram... For heavens sake, this is a story of a rake, a playboy who reformed after falling in love with ugly jassi... where does ram-sita fit in here...the dialogues itself are out of context these days... thanks to ms.modi..🤢

yes i agree how woman are treated in our country.... but she was portrayed as a role model... even in the ads in US a mom says that she wants her daughter to become like Jassi... I never compared her with Nelson Mandala or gandhiji... because I know she is just a human who makes mistakes...

The makers hyped her character for money....they even had a postal stamp because she was a middle class icon...Jassi wrote a book on 7 steps to success or something like that...

I am aware these were just marketing strategies of SONY to sell their product "Jassi" ....But they lost the essense of the story completely....

She is now all alone, confused, lost her identity for the nth time, she does things with good intentions but ends up hurting each and every person in her life......and we are supposed to feel for her...

but now I have completely lost passion for the show and not a single character makes sense anymore...🤢🤢

I will never ever ever forgive these money hungry makers for murdering each and every character of this unique story the was hooked on for past couple of years...😡😭😭

👏 well JD yaar ill hand it to u-u really know how to argue your point-God the biggest mistake tnd made was to portray jassi as some sort of ideal woman,a saint-someone who everyone could look up2 and then when she made mistakes she suddenly dropped so much in ppls eyes that now we are in the unfortunate position where everyone hates her guts ..
..i dont think shes actually ever blamed armaan for the situation she finds herself in now-ok she does say that he didnt believe in her and the whole trust bhashans, but apart frm that ive never actually seen her solely blame armaan-infact she blames it on fate-this is something i detest-dnt get me wrong im a strong believer in destiny but we as humans have choices and free will,we can make and break our own destinys!-jassi has always been insecure the only difference being that before all those insecurities were hidden by her baggy clothes and glasses-now that we cn see beyond that, we are finding it hard to digest her insecure nature-its very natural though to have lived your life being the underdog and still continue to live with the many insecurities throughout your life..
..unfortunately jassi aint perfect-shes far from it-if we were to meet someone like her in reality we'd probably sympathise with her-but as viewers we can see beyond what the characters themselves can and so are far better able to judge-anyway u said it yourself beautifully JD-armaan and jassi are imperfect and incomplete without eachother and so shud be 2getha and for that reason we shudnt curse jassi 😊
