Actually even i agree that the makeover was not really needed. I just loved the fact that Armaan loved a ordinary (not so good looking) girl. 😍

It would have been more challenging and different if jassi could get out of problems and take BADLA with her normal look. That would have been so inspiring for the viewers.
😳 😳
She could afterwards change her looks for her own self assurance.

Well, first of all I would not like to speak about Purab 😡 🤢 ... Also I don't mind the makeover at all.. I have only one complaint.. what happened to them that they did not follow the original story BLF.. and from where did they get the story which followed after the makeover.. I think Tarun Katiyal is the ans to all these q's... The best part of BLF was that Betty never turned into a model and even her braces were removed one day before the marriage.. how beautiful was that..I would have loved her more than I hate her now..Even the trashbag and diary reading scene would have been shown 😍 😍 😍 .. Hai mein mar jaawan 😳 😳 😳

yess exactly what i feel.. When they used their own brains JJKN turned into a mess.. wish they followed BLF from head to tail..😭😭.. the Vedika/Vidhi/Snoberoi etc etc were trash.. they spoiled the beautiful lovestory... 😡😡 actully Ghatiyal is to be blamed for this..😆

And at that point in life Jassi definitely needed a moral boost. She was down and heart broken.

Glad Nandini Maam helped her feel better.

ditto😊

No, I don't think the make-over was necessary. JJKN started as the stroy of a timid middle-class ugly girl, of whom everybody makes fun of. And how she gradually wins the heart of the very people who made fun of her, including her good-looking casanova boss, in spite of all the odds stacked against her. The story should have ended with Armaan proposing/ marrying the chashmish bracey Jassi. 😊

Uff....seriously.They would been the 'hottest' couple..😳

Wasnt the whole story about how looks dont matter and even without looks you can achieve whatever you want in life.I think it was pretty much messed up by the way Jassi became a model (A model ??That too overnight...I think the whole point of the makeover was lost.)So to actuallly get back at few people she actually ended being 'beautiful' like the whole world demands.

I would married Armaan the way I was..And proudly show my husband around. When Armaan and her family had no problem why should jassi have?? 😛

Prefer the chasmish jassi Anyday.....😳After her makeover she beacme like everyone else.

no, it wasn't at all necessary. Armaan would have turned the ugly duckling into a swan anyways.....

Jokes apart, no it was unecessary. The whole meaning of the story of an ugly looking girl with brains who made it big, was all lost.....

wah....feels good to be back on this forum!!! anu please dont kill me for not visiting in ages!!! sowwie....newayz excellent question....

if we're talking about Jassi - the character Jassi - then more than anything else i think the whole makeover was for her self confidence. yes i agree that jassi's whole attitude and mindset changed real quick (within one episode!) but lets blame that on the director....as for getting the makeover, i think jassi did it for her own sake, to be more accepted into the society she lived in...and lets face it, its not easy working in a fashion house with models around u 24/7. Partly, i dont blame her for getting the makeover at all....we all need a change, she did too lol

now if we're talkin about the show and whether the makeover was relevent at all then i wood say no. they couldnt have perfectly ended the show with braces jassi, but then what would be the fun in that. I always thought that there was a perfect point until the show got ruined by adding new characters etc....but i guess the director wanted to pull an ekta mai on us and stretch the show..nevertheless..we could have done without the makeover but i think almost half of the audiences watching were probably watching for the makeover...

Soemtimes you end up doing things for your self...I guess Jassi's makeover was an all time wish of Jassi. She always felt she was ugly...so to become beautiful was a kind of acceptance of her for herself...I liked it.
