SONY has gone insane....here's proof

Ok, this is nothing JJKN-related....but it comes as a big shock considering that I just watched the last epi of JHJL today.😭😭 And now they're after Viruddh too.....darn, it is the best show on air today!😡 Now i know why Mona doesn't want to do another soap....her contract will force her to do one with Sony and there is no guarantee that it will last even 6 months, considering the way the channel is behaving.

Virrudh Trouble!! [15 May 2007]

Smriti Irani, who plays the main lead in the serial Virrudh and alos produces it, has been put on notice to raise the T RPs of her show within four weeks time. Currently, the show has the TRP of 1.22, which is very poor by all standards. Tragedy of situation is that despite of being a good story and presentation, it has not found favour with the television viewing public who continue to patronize the saas bahu shows. As a source reveals, ' They have been asked to keep a strict quality check and to better their standards of production. Even Sony knows that the show has very good potential. As every channel wants their shows to deliver good TRPs, Sony wants them to produce good results as early as possible. They have been given one month to deliver better TRPs.' It may be recalled that Anuj Saxena's Kulvaddhu and Renuka Shahane's Jeete Hain Jiske Liye were recently removed by Sony due to poor TRP ratings and now perhaps the day of reckoning has arrived for Smriti's production too.

Why does Sony even bother to show good shows like JHJL and Virrudh when eventually they are just going to pull it off air just because of low TRPs.
Why dont they just show Kekta soaps if TRPs are the only thing they care about. I always liked Sony because of its unique and fresh shows,but Alas!

P.S correct me if I am wrong but does'nt kajjal have lower TRPs than Virrudh?

I agree Blyton I was surprised too. That brings me to ELAS and why its still on. Its currently the worst show acc to me.....

I think they need to be more patient with their serials. Give them more time..

I wonder the same , the only serial which is diff and sensible is Viruddh and JHJL was good too . i dont know why people still watch K-style dramas which was total bakwaas and nothing else .

I had always liked SONY for their innovative and different shows , looks like the day they ruined JJKN , everything went downhill for them.

I think they should axe all thes shows except maybe viruddh and thodi khushi thodi gham coz thats the other storyline whose story isvery different from the rest and bring on Reality shows .

I dont what is it that they are not able to garner TRP's for the soaps . I think they need to do more thiniking into that.

Zee was so miserable and now they are booming with their rona-dhona soaps , good lord when will we change from that

What??? From what I know, 1.22 TRPs is pretty high. How can they say that this is low?? The best show on Sony are Kaajjal, Virrudh, and TKTG! How are they just pulling the shows off, and threatening to?? All the shows are low compared to Ektas show. But I bet its Ekta who is trying to pull Virrdh off because Smriti is the main lead, and she left Ekta! Sony is an amazing channel with amazing shows! Its perfect, they just need to quit worrying, and RELAX!

I agree but channels are there for business😛 if they don't make enough money how they gonna stay in business?😳 But i do agree dat Sony is the only channel that has some creative ppl left in😆 all the other channels are just copying ideas from other shows or bollywood movies🤢 However I also believe Sony better bring something worthwile and TRP generator to show the audience otherwise it is going to lose the TRP race PRETTY badly I've a suggestion for them😛 How abt if they make a sequel to JJKN😉 That wud be SO kool😍

I really don't understand all this nonsense. Since JJKN went off air, they've been positively irritating with their worry over TRPs. It should be VERY OBVIOUS to them that the other shows won't bring in the TRPs in the way that JJKN did, but thats no reason to go hacking shows every 5 months! I agree with Sharna - they need to RELAX! And I swear to God if they even go near Kaajjal with a 10 foot pole, I'll hurt someone!

Yes, Blyton, itsn't it pathetic that shows with good storyline and talented actors also have to go through this stupid TRP TEST. There is no value of talent in TV world. Its just a money machine. Jiski lathi uski bheins.😆

Ekta's crapy shows are gaining higher TRPs than other good shows.

I watched the first episode of Virrudh only.. 😆 and then lost interest..I wouldn care if it went off air but its eally unfair with the regular members of this show.

I think Sony shud hire shows from Zee 😆 ..Zee shows are quite entertaining..let it be Betiyaan, Teen bahuranya, BMTD, Saloni etc Those shows good concept quite different. 😊

I just read abt Kaajjal TRP's which says that it is the Leading serial on Sony currently..and ofcourse not to forget Indian Idiol. 👏 👏
