Good topic Tina! 👏

Yes, I agree with what everyone has said. There are some great points! 😊

The relationship was a lopsided failure from the start. Armaan never truly loved Mallika--maybe deep concern for her at times--but never love. As he said right after the V-Day hug that "pehli baar sacha pyar hua" ( 😳 if I spelled any of that wrong) which shows he never really loved anyone before Jassi.

About Armaan's flirtatious nature 😛, what I don't really understand is that if Mallika grew up with Armaan for practically her whole life, how was she not aware of his tendency to flirt with so many women?? 😕

But Armaan is certainly at fault for not telling Mallika his true feelings about her and he should have told her early off that he did not love her-- that would've saved a lot of heartache later on. But then again we have to understand that Armaan had a lot of pressure from his parents to marry Mallika from the start. The issue was kind of like duty vs. true love so because the relationship started mainly on the basis of duty, maybe that's another reason Armaan never truly loved Mallika.

Overall, I think the basis on which Mallika and Armaan got together was more to blame for the breakup than was any specific individual.

👏👏👏 Couldnt have said better myself..

I always wondered Maalika being the smart woman...who always talked of self respect in a realtionship ended up taking Armaan back soo many times...

I thought she would have realised that for Armaan the realtioship was more like a obligation to him...and such a realtioship would have broken any time for even the silliest reasons and at the silliest excuses..

Mallika though it her birthright to marry Armaan as she has been with him since childhood ..she truly loved him and but knowing how he is she should really have got a hold on herself and moved on before she got hurt more...and Armaan was caught between the guilt of not truly loving her back and Standing up and telling her that...

He needed to learn to face up to a few harsh realities....and in the end he learnt it the hard way!!

Maybe they just werent meant to be

But somehow i think to some extend jassi was sorta indirectly responsible, after she came dey started drifting apart. i mean they were never close and anything.. imallika loves armaan but armaaan... lolzzzzzz

jassi always hid all da bad stuff he used to do ... if mallika was told abt em, maybe she could have done somethign to stop him somehow.. lolzzz but she didnt cuz jassi was hiding it all

i funno if u get wat im sayin.. but yeaa.. lolzzz

I disagree that it was one sided love , its clear that Arman too loved her at some point of time . It was never an arranged one . coz in the engagement video or during diwali , Arman and Mallika discussed their first crush or how they liked each other . So Arman did love her and thats exactly why I asked why did they fall out of love and when .

I don't think,Armaan loved her.Maybe he thought, he did. He never knew, what is a real love, till he was in love with Jassi. This happens to us all the time. We think,we love someone, but as the time goes by,we realise that it was not love, just a fancy, you can call it.

I dont think there was any exact point.Just as Time passed...Things changed....Armaan's feelings changed....

I agree and I think that the circumstances under which Armaan & Mallika grew up together-- that is, almost as a family since Puru & Ila raised Mallika and Aryan-- also contributed to their "crush." It was natural that the two developed some kind of bond with each other since they were practially raised together.

I don't remember when Armaan & Mallika discussed their first crush, but Armaan was probably too immature to know whether or not it was love from his side. However I don't deny that Armaan deeply cared for Mallika as today's episode showed with him taking Mallika home and putting her to bed, etc., but I think that his feelings were, if considered "love," more of a family-type love rather than that which exists between two lovers.
