JandA are driving home in dead silence. Abruptly Armaan halts the car, and gazes imploringly at Jassi.
"Kya tum bhi wahi soch rahi ho jo main soch raha hun?"
Jassi: (nodding grimly) Haan Armaan……mujhe bhi yahi lag raha hai ki Samar ka khoon….CJ ne kiya hai…!!
Armaan whips out his phone and calls Raj. Raj happens to be at Neha's house, playing with Nikki, who apparently has taken a great fancy to him. He sees Armaan's number and tenses in anticipation. "Kya baat hai Armaan….sab theek hai na?"
Armaan: Hum dono toh theek hai Raj….lekin Oberoi Industries mein kuch theek nahin hai….wahaan koi unke sab kaam sabotage kar raha hai…..
Raj: Hmmm….interesting….mujhe lag raha tha ki hume yahaan se koi lead zaroor milegi…
Armu: Lead toh mili hai Raj….aur isse bhi badi…. (sighs heavily)
Raj: What do you mean?
Armu: Wo main phone par nahin bata sakta….hum log tere ghar aa rahe hai….
Raj: Umm….Armaan….main Neha ke ghar pe hun….
Armu: Lekin hamara tumse baat karna bahut urgent hai….would Neha mind agar hum uske ghar aa jaye….usse bhi iss baat mein involve karna zaroori hai….
Raj: No….I don't think she'll mind… (glances up at Neha who is standing over him, looking puzzled) …Neha, Armaan aur Jassi humse kuch zaroori baat karna chahte hai….kya wo log yahaan aa sakte hai?
Neha: Of course….yeh bhi koi poochne wali baat hai…!
Raj: Armaan, yahaan ka address note kar…..
Soon JandA are at Neha's house, discussing the new information they have uncovered. (Nikki has attached herself to both the JandAs, and it takes some persuading from Neha before she goes to bed and leaves them alone to talk.)
As Jassi finishes relating her tale, everyone falls silent. There is a palpable tension in the room.
Finally it is Raj who speaks. "Neha….kya tumne uss aadmi ka chehra dekha tha, jise uss raat hotel mein laya gaya tha…?"
Neha: (shakes her head ) Nahin…jab wo log aaye toh main apne kamre mein thi, aur uss….uss haadse ka baad toh kuch waqt tak mujhe kuch yaad nahin raha…
Armaan clicks his tongue in disappointment. "Neha, are you sure tumhe kuch yaad nahin…thoda dimaag par zor dalo….agar tumhe uss aadmi ka chehra yaad aa jaye toh hum pata laga sakte hai ki wo Samar tha ya nahin….."
Neha: (sadly) Nahin, mujhe kuch bhi yaad nahin….sirf uss aadmi ki dabi-hui cheekh….aur CJ ki khatarnaak aawaaz……I'm sorry!!
Jassi: Nahin Neha….bhala issme tumhari kya galti hai! Lekin….kya uss waqt CJ aur tumhare husband ke alava wahaan koi nahin tha…..jo hume uss aadmi ki pehchaan bata sake…?
Neha : (frowning as she tries to concentrate) Hmm……shayad….ek aadmi tha…haan! (jumping up) Uss waqt, hotel mein attendant bhi maujood tha….lekin jab khoon hua tab tak wo bhi ja chukka tha….
Raj: ….lekin ho sakta hai, usne un logon ko aate hue dekh liya ho…aur uss aadmi ki shakl usse yaad ho…! Wo attendant hume kahaan milega Neha?
Neha: Pata nahin….mujhe toh uska naam bhi yaad nahin…..uss haadse ke baad toh Anuj ne, uss raat ke saare staff ko badal diya tha….par shayad uska naam hotel ke records mein ho…mujhe Anuj ke papers dekhne padenge…..
Raj: Toh ye kaam jaldi karo Neha….aur Armaan, hume Samar ki ek photograph chahiye….agar hume yeh attendant mil jaata hai toh wo photo usse dikha kar hum pehchaan karva sakte hai….!!
Jassi: Don't worry…yeh kaam tum log mujhpe chod do….
They all sit with resolute faces. Armaan murmurs, "CJ, agar inn sab ke peeche, tumahra haath hai, toh tum bachoge nahin!"
