Anjali,

There was a thread about real life love stories some time back here. Many beautiful love stories were expressed so nicely there.I think it was started by peaches. If I find it, I will give the link, ok??

After reading that, you won't require anything else. 😊

Blyty,

The book that inspired me - Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach

Bach is a brilliant writer and philosopher. I fall in love with everything he writes. Jonathan though, is very dear to my heart, a seagull that flew so fast.. something he was not "supposed" to do.. so fats and so skillfully, he reached the sky so high.. he glided above all. reached heaven.. he inspired others to do the same.

The story is about being diferent, not being afraid of following the set of rules that stop you from following your heart, Jonathan is being about dauntless and persistent. Jonathan is about the strength required to realize ones dreams by testing one's potential to its limits.

Jonathan has helped me seek (choose) and achieve goals in my professional and personal life. I am just at the beginning of my career yet, hence not a whole lot to say; but as far as my personal life goes, I will just say one thing. 5 years ago, i eloped and married the one I love against ALL ODDS AT HIS family end... Because of the circumstances, I even missed my own family dearly at the wedding. The whole journey from being introduced to in-laws till getting hitched was ugly, hard and harsh. Jonathan helped me glide through all the diversity. and he continues to do so.

As Hansa mentioned, FOUNTAINHEAD is another inspiring classic, and another one comes to mind is THE INVITATION by Oriah mountan dreamer.

Good luck with your essay.

Seriously, veekay, Love makes us experience hell and heaven both in one life. But the experience of true love teaches you to accept life as it comes. I believe life is very short and we should enjoy every phase of life as it comes to us rather than crying all our life for things we don't have.

I know how hard it is to live lufe as a single for all our life but there are always ways to live the life to its fullest.

Lots of love,

Neelam

wow, all this has me so emotional.

sometimes you are feeling low and your head is full of questions....and suddenly the answer is in front of you. in form of small words written by friends who speak so profoundly that i wonder if they realise who they will touch...where and when they touch a chord??? it is like god speaks to me through them!!!

thank you veekay...thank you neelam... thank you tina and blty and all my friends here.... thankyou for bringing it all in focus again🤗

Oh yes cutie, how could I forget Richard Bach? Some years back my hubby had gifted me his other book - A Bridge Across Forever, saying - "read this book, this is our story!!!" 😳
