Apu was disappointing!

So FINALLYYYYYYYYYY,I caught glimpses of Kaajjal...It wasnt premeditated,But Today being a Sunday,I was coerced by my mother to apply henna on my hair🤢....Thus I resorted to television,and Sony happened to repeat Kaajjal...Nothing else was worth watching,So decided to give it a try

I caught it from the scene where Dev pinned Kaajjal to the wall, asseverated that he'd win back the public support(What made him the Public enemy No 1 BTW😕,Sorry,didnt watch it from the beginning,could anyone please tell😳).....

And a few scenes that ensued.....Sorry to say,But APu simply doesnt exude terror or arrogance😕....He doesnt remotely look browbeating,looked more akin to a recalcitrant kid throwing tantrums and refusing to grow up😕...Apu's voice doesnt do him any good either,as far as this role is concerned!😕

Apu is synonymous with the role Armaan,and perhaps Its because of the Armaan hangover,that I find it odd to see Apu acting like a jerk Dev,But one just cannot help but mention that he was way more convincing as the "jerky Armaan"....I dont know if Its just me,but looks as though Apu is yet to get over his Armaan hangover😕...The pouts,the poses,the "adas",the idiosyncrasies,everything invariably brings in a sense of Deja vu and nostalgia(which shouldnt be the case)😕.....SO much of Armaan Suri,can be seen in Dev,and it just isnt advantageous or expedient,as Armaan and Dev are different as Chalk and cheese

Besides,his wardrobe direly needs revampment(Period!),and his physique and lack of sartorial savvy necessitates a thorough overhaul,as the profession and fans importunate the actor for decent looks too....😭....Men look dapper in suits/formal wear😳,and a golden rule is that loose fitting apparels are NOT for those lacking sartorial elegance 😕👎🏼.....APu looks skinny beyond disbelief,and albeit being assailed with criticism for the shabby Hair,some just never learn😭

Sorry,Not to offend anyone,but I was appalled seeing APu,who once played a character other actors would give an arm and leg for😳,Playing such substandard roles👎🏼....I reckon he could have waited,for another TnD soap,as whatever said and done,TnD's soaps rock..JLH and LRL are so awesome,and It would have been so heartening to see APu doing a role like Raghu or Capt.Rajveer(essayed impeccably by Sudeep Sahir and Rajeev Khandelwal respectively).....One might say that Its hard to break off the Armaan image,which has by and large attained a cult status,but If RAjeev Khandelwal could do so With LRL(One cant see even an iota of Sujal Garewal in CApt Rajveer),so Could have APu,provided he had chosen the right script......SUrveen's playing a typical kekta esque heroine,and the cliched lines she spouts make me cringe "YAWN,Say something different lady"....Just my thoughts,No offense....

HMM BUFFIE i dont know what to say all i can say is dev is not pullin in the crowd as armaan did
and mayb just mayb armaan hangover is still there for many of us and armaan gave many a dream or mayb memories too and yes it was a cult figure as u say

given a time mayb dev wud catch up as it is too early to say where this show is going
i still feel the trace of mills and boons stories
and i have nothin to say about looks or wardrobe
i talk abt character and his mannerisms which do remind of armaan but dev is different from armaan
and i guess thats why as an actor apurva wanted to do somethin different from armaan and he cant afford to stay in armaan image forever

thas my opinion
wud have to wait and see how story goes
but i wonder are we allowed to discuss kaajal here or what

I agree with you Buffie. Baat kuchh jam nahin rahi.I used to watch JJKN twice,if possible. Kaajjal is ok. If I miss it I sometime I dont out of my way to watch it.
As for your question-what did Dev do-he wanted to buy the property,where an old school was standing(where Kaajjal's father is a principal) & wanted to make a resort there.

I dont see Armaan at all..Armaan wouldnt waste his time on nakchadi girls! 😆Believe me i know armaan inside out he wouldnt do all this!!He would make jassi do all his dirty work!! 😆 😉

I agree Buffie! 😭 Kajjal has nothing new! 😭 Same kektaish story! 😭 I watch it just for Apu! 😃 I find surveen really irritating and the story is soo unrealastic! 😕
And Apu is soooooooooooo thin. 😭 he direly needs to eat and get a decent hair cut. 😃 And he looks much more better in shirts and coats! 😕 😳 He looked so good in the promo where he was wearing a black suit. 😳 And I am not able to get over Armaan yet.
Agreed Apu shud have waited for a serial made my TnD. JLH and LRL indeed rocks! 👏 They stories r not a wee bit cliched. 👏 I thought kajjal wud be a bit different! But no its the same kekta type serial! 😭 But still I will watch it for Apu! 😃

And mods pls let us discuss kaajal over here now and then. It's no fun trying to have discussions on the kaajal forum - most of the members just drool over Dev and bash Armaan without even having seen JJKN. It's really annoying.

I cant belive they Bash Armu.I need to revive the Armu Defence club.😆

But lets not bash Dev.😳The upcoming promo shows he had a hair cutand his acting is still quite good.But then armaan 's character was so well defined that we just cant compare.
