For once I agree with buffie,see I havent compared arman adn Dev but then when one sees numerous articles abt dev "playing a beast and arrogant best " then one tends to get disspointed coz as much as i have seen ,the arrogance portrayed by dev seems least impressive and infact he actually looks like a ziddi kid .

I am willing to give dev a chance but u see JJKN created an impact on its first episode and the cast too im[pressed me.I was impressed with apu too and he was arrogance epitomized in the 1st episode itself .In kaajjal, there is no impact created and the urge to watch it again or the next day doesnt arise at all.Thats me but i guess many esp pnes who havent watched JJKN prefer Dev and I respect that but forme dev didnt impress me nor does the serial excite me to watch the episodes the next day or again.

agree with you Tina. Maybe they are using the wrong words to promote the show. Maybe they should say that he's a man who has been hurt in the past and that has made him cynical. The word beast conjures up a totally different image altogether.

Precisely!....Dev truly looks like a ziddi kid,a spoilt brat,very cynical,more than like a man whose past made him bitter😕..As hansa di said,A totally different image was conjured up,and when confronted to the actual dev,one was left disappointed!

The propaganda and promotional campaigns projected a "beastlike" image of Dev,and Dev doesnt even remotely look like a beast😕.He doesnt exude terror....He just comes across as an intransigent spoilt brat,who doesnt respect women(more like a Salman Khan😆😕)

Dev's past seems to have zilch relevance,albeit someone or the other keeps reiterating about "that one night",but seriously,How on earth could possibly "a night" push a well mannered fellow into the abyss of iniquity,that he bargains with a woman over the price of her chastity..That seemed perverse,not cynical or arrogant😕🤢...The premise is flawed,the propaganda had the wrong tagline,and APu or Dev just doesnt impress...As tina said,One just simply doesnt get hooked,which was the case with JJKN....JJKN had a much better star cast,It had Parmeet who was brilliant right from episode 1,Rakshandha who was good,Virendra Saxena whom people could connect to,and albeit Apu and Mona were raw,their characters were so well etched,that one could overlook the mediocre acting..But in the case of Kaajjal,the premise is hackneyed,and in this case,mediocre acting just cannot be cut any slack!

Roopa, JLH and LRL are both soaps produced by T&D. Full form of JLH is Jabb love hua and it is being shown on Zee and LRL is left right left and is being shown on SAb 😊
