Okay for me..Mine was an arranged marriage...and our courtship lasted for 8 months..all the moments are so precious and even today when I think of those sweaty palms I used to have when he called..my feet turning cold and having butterflies in my tummy.My hubby was here in US and I was India and the best part was when I got a card each day in our mailbox ( he posted them the way that I can get one each day)..and each card was so beautifully written and love expressed in such a way that I had never dreamt of.

And even now he surprises me with different things like roses, beautiful poems and cute emails.

I feel like a 16 year old when I get one of these.

ok so ... we were engaged and got married within 15 days time and then I stayed back in India for month before joining my hubby to US. ofcourse, that means mine was an arrange marriage.

My husband used to send me long letters and tons of cards and feathers and what not every week. Every week i used to get this big package and i used to read those letters again and again...girls they were soooooo romantic... he never writes me anymore :-( nor does he gives me cards

oh and this is cute... he came to pick me up at the airport and told me that he has a suprise for me in glove compartment and i thought probably flowers or something romantic..and guess what he had in??????????? he had a coffee mug and he explained that since he only had 1 coffee mug in his appartment (you know how bachelors can be....) he bought it before coming to pick me up! 😆 😆

one of the thing that i still remember after there many yrs of marriage is during our "vidai" i was crying in the car and he hold my hands with such warmth that i stopped crying ..he didn't talk to me but his touch was so filled with love that i was sure that i am in right hands and he will always be with me when i need him... 😭 😭

OK Peaches... here is mine...

It was my 18th birthday.. and he took me to a really romantic place near Pune my home town... He gave me the sweetest gift that I ever got from him till now.. I got my first kiss that day and it lasted for more than a minute...

He also gave me nice dangling earrings and a love letter which got into my mom's hand the other day and I was in big trouble..But that's another story..

I am so lucky that I could marry the guy I fell in love with... those days were just WOW...We have the date for each and every thing😉 we did for the first time...😳

Now, we are happily married for so long....that it feels good to remember those priceless moments we shared when we were teenagers...

Ok.. Back to reality got to take the kids for soccer practice after some time...Mom's Taxi service ... what a life..

You guys have better love stories and romantic moments than Jassi and Armaan.😳

Gosh! can you guys post me a juicy romantic novel everyday! Forget JJKN!!! I'm about get popcorn and soda for this!!! 😃

😆 😆 lash i think we all girls here are devil.. i already sent this page to my hubby and want him to see that i still say good about him sometimes... 😉 he always thinks that i am gossiping about his habits to my girlfriends!! 😛 hee..he....and who knows probably he realize that i miss those cards and letters adn gifts...

Hey, Those earrings and love letter got me into deep trouble the next day... My parents were so mad that they went directly to meet his parents to ask them whether they knew anything about us...thats a long story...

I have saved all our letters in a tin box... Thanks peaches for starting this topic.. I have to read all of them tonight...
