Purab's character is of a good friend of Jassi's and Armaan's character is of a Flirt Boss, so that obvious that Purab always stand by Jassi when the whole world is against her and Armaan whom Jassi helped in his downs just think that its he job and humiliates her and let her down....

But in the meanwhile we are forgettin another special friendly character yess, Thats Nandu

for me it is all about doing justice to a character...lead or minor...

but if Tony and Deeya are so intent on shredding all characters beyond recognition ...and here I mean Jassi, Arman, Purab and lately and most blatently Mallika (you have to admit they have mutilated each of these characters at some point) ....

then the whole show loses it's grace...and we can see that this show has not lived up to it's potential...the question is can it be revived? 🤢 CPR anyone???

well nice discussion.....well to start purab's and armans characters are complete opposite to each other....while arman is reactive and juts reacts without thinking i.e impulsive,purab thinks a lot and is very subdued and does not show his emotions

thats why arman reacted in the court when jessica announced that she was jassi and purab didnt and i cant even imagine purab doing that bcoz it is totally against his character

as far as making purab look bad is concerned......i agree with many...that last year they showed arman totally negative to accomdate purab whose was supposed to be a guest appearance....so now i think they brought in purab just for trp's and nothing else but i agree they have butchered armans.purab's and even jassi's role to add more drama to the serial

but think when purab was given at one point of time so much importance that they completely sidelined the other characters like raj, maddy,infact even arman and hence all were upset.I dont blame them ....

anyway i think they are wantedly showing all this scenes abt purab being ignored so thjat he feels insecure andasks for the promise..i dont think t&d will forget that coz in the courtroom drama they have brought in all those questions that we asked in this forum....u know why cant jassi;s parents recognise her ,why didnt arman rcognise...if u watch all those questions are being answered and justified so there may be a reason for purabs treatment like this too ...coz repeatedly they show purabs reaction when jassi,nandu all talk abt arman hence i feel his promise will come up soon

Shreya, there is no big deal,only that he was to be at peripheri till jessica's revenge;not in revealation in the case when he played central in making jessica.

It would have been better if armaan recognised jassi by himself (I frowned there,too) & purab presented evidences by himself...instead of being directed .But may be T & D want armaan & purab to be great friends so making them work together...😉

Tina,your possibility scares me....You know what, I want that promise to be used as - Jassi's family forgiving him,you know he treated them all as his own family ....this lonely fellow should get them all back yaar..!

So we have identified that Purab's fans have brought upon his downfall on JJKN, what should their punishment be???? I think the punishment should be that he stays on the show just the way he is....face shot...after face shot...after faceshot...I think that is pretty good punishment...😎

very interesting discussion...here a few thing to ponder

1)when has any character been sensible or graceful on this show.....ironically jassi is the most inconsistent and stupid character on the show...if you take a poll , you will find it is armaan and purab that are pulling this show.

2)the directors have yet to understand the meaning of subtlety and grace..so it is useless to expect that out of them. personally i always thought that even love had grace and dignity but in jjkn ...all that goes for toss regularily

3)true...acting and characterizationwise there is very little for purab/samir to do but the fact remains that he is not only pocketing a hefty ammount but even has a small screen time(enough to tantalise his fans and critics alike). so in all it is not a bad deal for him as a person(the downside is he has no chance to display his capabilities).

4)i thought banegi apni baat and just mohabbat were bad but now even they seem like good show when compared to jjkn.

Very good observation Tina. You are right. They are trying to at least give some of the answers.

Puja, I agree completely. The directors have not been consistent with any of the characters. But as of now from what I can see, Jassi and Mallika are the worst hit. Even Aryan looks like an angel in front of Mallika. Yet will all her faults, in the beginning, one thing that Mallika always had was integrity, the main reason why Armaan chose to confide in Jassi and not Mallika. But the directors of course have conviniently overlooked it when the need arose. Much as I hate snobbish attitude, the reason for which I could never symphatise with Mallika, you had to give that the girl had attitude and some very good qualities. Now she has turned into another Komolika,replete with style and grace. And the less I say what they did to Jassi, the better.

Well, no matter what goes, the crux of the matter is, we are addicted and hence inspite of all our grumblings, we love the show😆
