Rupal.

i think you couldn't be able to understand the inner meaning of that scene.purab has always helped jassi and nandu and jassi's family have always been dependent on purab for that. purab used to believe in that fact. nobody ever depended on armaan in any such situation . this is not that nandu does not depend on purab any more. in fact he depends and that's why he was discussing all those with him only. but this was for the first time nandu mentioned armaan's name and said that armaan will leave no stones unturned to release jassi.he uttered those words with so much confidence that purab was astonished. purab was hearing this for the first time and was wondering that now he is not the only man to help jassi, armaan has achieved so much confidence of these people. he was a bit down ,obviously out of jealousy but more than that, he was a bit surprised. i think this is the introduction of purab's good feelings for armaan.😃

and I agree Purab has been a good friend from time to time.. Cant Purab and Purab fans take one set back that he couldnt convience the lawyer this once?? Does this one incident make him a loser???

If Armaan was not shown helping you would be the first to criticize Armaan for not helping her and said that its Purab who helps her blah blah blah..

And this was the only time they could show Armaan really trying to help her.. Also everybody is shown trying to help Jassi including Raj, Armaan, Nandu and Purab.

And I understand you completely, this is how we A-fans felt last year when Armaan was purposely made so negative to show how super white and angel Purab was..

Last year they promoted Purab, this year they are promoting Armaan.

This year they brought Purab back but cant decide how to portray him and yes his character is wasted...

this year the story has come along so much that Armaan is shown deeply in love with Jassi...

Why cant it be Armaan for once to help Jassi??

Brilliant, JD. Absolutely brilliant👏👏.

Okay Rumi I understand that Armaan is winning everyone's confidence now..but it's not that one scene....

But you honestly weigh this-

Armaan was made to speak up in the court impulsively they even allowed judge to sit quiet & witness armaan's test - Purab wasn't made to speak up in spite of knowing the truth

When purab anticipated jessica/jassi identity confusion he couldn't get the evidences, he alone being the part of that phase?he'll go with Armaan now...

Purab just say hello to Indira & made to hear whatever she says..Armaan has to kneel down & convince his love even to Indira..Aren't Scenes carefylly written for him??

See I'm not saying that these things make Armaan look big & purab look small but it's the way you take pains to develop a charactor yaar...I don't remember the time when purab was given more than two lines or frowns

Hey Rupal, that is the difference between a passionate lover and a matter of fact one. Arman's emotions are always at extremes. When he is angry, he make great scenes,(Oh! my God, I miss those damns) when he is sad he cries like a baby, when he is passionate, well, I don't want to think about it, And when he knows that his love is in trouble, he will go to any extreme to help her. he never think about telephoning the lawyer which is the first thing a matter of fact person like Purab will do. He goes to her house, convinces her to take the case and it is all done in a wonderful way. And exactly because of that only, his outburst at the court room occured. On the other hand you can never imagine an emotional outburst from Purab, even in private. Like somebody pointed out yesterday, he thinks before he speaks.

I sometimes feel sorry for Samir Soni. His so called fans have put him in this predicament. When he was working only as a supporting cast and when he has been given an unceremonius exit, he should have thought twice before accepting to comeback, for whatever reason it is. NOw, the character has no where to go, nothing else to do, Jassi's use of him is over, so accept it with grace.

Yes Blue lotus,I agree his fans have done this & I was one of them. But I faught b'coz I disagreed with the reason of his exit,If they could extend the charactor for 6 months for their business then couldn't they give him extra two episodes to leave gracefully??

& I'm sure Mr.Tarun Katial did not call him back 'coz I cried for him!!He called him back 'coz he was sure of his business. He should have been satisfied with whatever trps he had at that time. You call back an actor & you pay him 'coz you are sure of your return so why aren't directors sure of their intent with the charactor??(pls don't say samir said yes 'coz he's greedy)

Honestly to me purab has its impact irrespective of jassi. He always puts his arm on nandu's shoulder even casually talking to him -Its his gestures which attract me,the way he interacts with Bebe or Family, the maturity he shows with jassi....You simply feel respected in his presence as simple as that....& for this you don't need to marry jassi ,Belive me I was shocked when jassi proposed him "OH she agreed??"what I mean to say is armaan jassi interaction is at different level they are dependent on each other ...one completes another...But here to maintain purab's grace you don't need to make jassi fall for him.

But jassi doesn't need to snap at him either(I'm sure she'll do that as soon as she comes out of the jail).....& directors can write a few scenes for him too....instead of saying samir you just have to look sad !!!

Rupal , I can understand your anguish. However there are always two sides to a coin. The exit that Purab was given the last time around has always been shrouded in controversy. Why it happened the way it happened and whose fault it was is something we perhaps will never find out. There have been lots of rumour about that episode so going thru all that all over again will not serve any purpose.

The fact is, Sameer was brought back because he had already been introduced in the role. His was the only role which T&D carved all by themselves and it is so easy to make a character like Purab. They sent Armaan's character to a toss and Armaan fans had been appalled at the way his character was handled just to give an edge to Purab's character. They could have so easily carried on showing Purab in some grey light, like the time when he tried to take over GM with Arundhati's help. But later on, they just did a 360 turn and we had this guy look like an angel while Jassi and Armaan went downhill. The same people who today don't give two lines to Purab did worse with Jassi and Armaan. In fact they have ruined Jassi's character to such an extent that it is doubtful she will ever get the respect back again. You are ruing about Purab's comeback when they could not handle it, just think about the butchering Armaan's and Jassi's character have gone through and they are the ones who were given the understanding that this story is all about them !! Heck, they are under contract they can't work anywhere else as long as JJKn was on air !!

I think it's good for a change that they are showing some human sides to Purab. Not everytime a man can deliver. He was not shown in any negative light. Just that for this once he was unable to get the help Jassi needed. He tried and he did not succeed. But why do you forget that the name of the lawyer was suggested by Purab?

Armaan has been shown as a non perfromer too long. I think now they are trying to show him as taking up a responsibility. He himself said that he was never there when Jassi needed him So now he is shown to be making up for it.

See, if Purab helps, then we have people saying that see, again it was Purab who did it and see how Jassi is treating him. If he does not, well, then it is director's fault !! That is not really very fair.
