Neha is working in the office as Raj steals quizzical glances at her. Neha grows a little uncomfortable under his gaze, and finally asks, "Sir, koi baat hai kya?"
Raj: (thoughtfully) Main bas yeh soch raha tha……tum meri diye hue kaam pe work toh kar rahi ho na?
Neha: Yes sir! Maine Nazneen se kuch purani presentations ki CDs le li hai, aur unhe zaroor study karungi…..
Raj nods. "That's just fine! Keep it up!"
Chaman is woken up by the swish of a red dupatta against his face. He gets up groggily, but the next moment his eyes open wide to see Angel standing before him, pouting and blushing, clad in red and parrot green. 😕😆
Chaman: (wonderingly) Angelji, aap yahan…..
Angel: (coquettishly) Kyun? Aap mere ghar, mere liye cake leke aa sakte hain, toh main aapke ghar, lassi leke nahin aa sakti….? (hands him a glass of lassi)
Chaman is stupefied. He mechanically reaches his hand towards the glass……only to be shaken awake by Bua.😆
Bua: (furiously) Ab bahut ho gaya….neend mein bhi uss Angel ka naam pukar raha hai….lagta hai, waapas Amritsar jaane ka waqt aa gaya hai!
She turns around and walks off, leaving Chaman calling feebly after her, "Nahin Jhaiji, maine Amritsar waapas nahin jaana……!"
Armaan finds Jassi standing by the window of their room, dreamily running her hand over her stomach. She is clearly lost in visions of their beautiful future…..their family. Armaan stares with love and tenderness overflowing from his eyes. In the background, his feelings burst forth in the ultimate song—
"Thum ja zindagi thum ja……yahi lamha hai manzil meri !" ❤️
Going softly over to Jassi, he slides his arm protectively around her. She leans her head on his shoulder.
"Armaan", she sighs, "mujhe kabhi-kabhi yeh sab, sapne jaisa lagta hai….."
Sliding two fingers under her chin, he turns her face towards him. (Its amazing how they are attuned to each other's slightest touch😳.) Staring deeply into her eyes, he whispers, "Yeh sapna hum dono ne mil ke dekha hai Jassi…..jo bahut jald sach hone jar aha hai…..aur iss baar….yeh tootega nahin…!" He places his hand against her cheek and she gazes back limpidly, telling him with her eyes, "I trust you with my life…….because you are my life!"😳❤️
Armaan moves closer to her…….and then as usual TnD cut the shot 😡so we don't get to see any "action"😉……..and the next shot has them locked in a tight embrace. Armaan's right hand is lost in her hair. The other hand is holding her so close that it seems he wants to weld them together.
The scene ends here—but I'm sure it was enough fodder for our (wild) imaginations!😉😛
Angel is telling Puru and Ila that she is bored and wants to go back to the US. Ila is upset. "Yeh kya beta….abhi-abhi toh tum aayi ho….ab waapas jaane ki baat kar rahi ho!"
Angel: But Mom….mujhe yahan bilkul mazaa nahin aa raha…..mera yahan koi friend circle bhi nahin hai jisse main socialize kar sakoon!
Puru: Beta, agar tum din bhar ghar baithi rahogi toh logon se milogi kaise? Bahar jao, naye dost banao……aur ab toh, Meghna bhi aa rahi hai!
There is a flicker of interest in Angel's face. "Really? Meg's coming back? Great!"
Ila smiles. "Haan beta…..I think ab time aa gaya hai ki hum sab saath milke rahe….alag-alag rehne se bahut misunderstandings create hoti hai…..i hope hum sab bahut jald, ek proper family ki tarah phir se rehne lagein."
Puru's phone rings. It is Meghna. He asks her when she will be coming to them.
Meghna: Main bahut jaldi aa rahi hoon uncle…..in another two weeks' time….
Puru: Two weeks? Par beta….kya isse jaldi….
Meghna: Uncle, main aise nahin aa sakti!
Puru: Matlab?
Meghna: Main pehle apne aboriginal powers se, Molly aur Chotu (her name for Aryan; incidentally, it's also Mona's pet name) ke souls ko contact karungi…I'm sure wo mere aaspaas hi kahin hai…..i have to talk to them, warna unke souls ko shanti nahin milegi….
Puru looks bemused as he puts the phone down. "Na jaane hamara kal….kab tak hamara peecha karega!"
Monday: Neha puts her presentation before Raj.
