Armaan wakes up a little early and turns on his side to be able to look at Jassi, who is still sleeping peacefully. He places his arm under his head and sighs, never taking his gaze off her. Memories flash before him—Jassi appearing before him for the first time, giving him a shock; her loyal eyes silently pledging allegiance to him; her heartbreak when she thought he had been playing with her; her steely resistance to his pleadings of love; her reappearance as the gorgeous Jessica; their glorious reunion; the night of passion they spent in the studio; the terrible phase of separation that followed; the revival of all that was lost, in Goa; their souls pledged to each other in Malaysia; Jassi whispering, "I'm pregnant!" and his ecstatic reaction; the miscarriage; Vedika coming into their lives like a blessing; and the bounty overflowing as Jassi tells Vedika, "Tum…kisi ki didi banne wali ho!"
Jassi seems to feel the heat rising from his gaze😉, for she opens her eyes, using them expressively to ask, "Why are you staring?"
Armaan's response is as silent as her question: he reaches close and very tenderly kisses her forehead. 😳Then he moves a little back and gazes deeply into her eyes.
Jassi whispers, "Kya dekh rahe ho….?"
Armaan: Tumhe…..
Jassi: Kyun……?
Armu: (pouting) Jassi……isme mera kya kasoor hai….jaanti ho tum kitni khoosurat lag rahi ho?
Jassi: (blushing deeply) Tumhara pyaar mere andar janam le raha hai….shaayd yeh issi ka asar hai…!
In GM that day, Nandu timidly asks Beauty if she would like to go for a little outing with him that evening. To his delighted surprise, she agrees. He suggests the name of an expensive restaurant but Beauty insists that they go to the beach instead.
That evening, they are enjoying vada-paav from a beachside stall when Nandu asks, "Beauty…tum mujhse ab bhi naaraz ho kya?"
Beauty: (eyes dancing) Naaraz? Agar main aapse naaraz hoti toh aapke saath iss tarah ghoomne aati?
They start walking towards a less noisy part of the beach.
Nandu: Toh phir….tumne mera Arcadia jaane ke invitation ko kyun manaa kiya?
Beauty: Kyun…iss jagah mein kya burai hai?
Nandu: Burai toh kuch bhi nahin Beauty…lekin main tumhe achchi-si jagah le jaana chahta tha…..(unable to resist)…jaise Raj tumhe dinner pe le jata hai…..
Beauty: (quietly) Aap mein aur Raj sir mein bahut fark hai….
Nandu: (annoyed) Haan……fark toh hai….kahaan Raj Malhotra aur kahaan main….
Beauty: (seriously) Theek kahaan aapne….kahaan aap aur kahaan wo….main kabhi imagine bhi nahin kar sakti ki Raj sir mere pind mein, chhat par manji daal kar khuli hawa mein so sakte hain…..ghar ki lassi pi sakte hain……suraj ko kehton ke upar ugte hue dekh sakte hai…….yeh sab aapne dekha hai, unhone nahin…..
Nandu is staring at her as if trying to extract the meaning of her words. Beauty continues her train of thoughts, almost as if speaking to herself, "Raj sir mere bahut hi pyaare dost hain…unhone mere aatmvishwaas ko jagaaya hai….lekin wo uss tarah meri zindagi ka hissa nahin hai jiss tarah….." She stops in confusion, realizing what she is letting slip.😳 She gazes shyly at Nandu to see how much he has understood.
For once Nandu has understood everything, and is staring at her in barely-concealed delight.😃 They both look at each other and blush.
