Thanks Anu for putting up this contest. Since we watched and listened Jassi's Bashans for 3 years, only thing I can do is write a BHASHAN, cannot writee a poem.
Jassi and Anjali, too good, I really enjoyed it specially the NAUGHTY one 😆 😆 😆

Well, I have a piece....

Farewell

The raindrops never cried
Just before it left
The comfort of the clouds
To fall down and break

The water never fainted
When flowing down the river
Never to see the shores again
To vanish in to the sea

The music didn't break
When leaving from the flute
Wandering, sweet and soft
And dissolving in the air

The breeze never shivered
While caressing the leaves
One last time before moving past
Never to come back again.

Then why is it so?
That my eyes water, and
My heart break and I feel
This is the last day on Earth
When I am leaving you.

I will not cry, never.
