It's hard to be a saint in the city,'' said Springsteen and for a diehard rock 'n' roll buff like, Sameer Soni, it was just the excuse he needed to spend an evening sinning — pampering himself to a soothing massage and then indulging in a scrumptious five-course meal. For Sameer, who has spent the past couple of months, working round the clock, rehearsing for his upcoming play and playing brand ambassador, the Manhattan invitation for a lifestyle experience couldn't have come at a better time. And of course our Delhi da puttar, being a pleasure seeker and a foodie at heart chose the Manhattan Body Soul and Sauce experiences. Dressed in jeans and a casual shirt Sameer walked into Club Prana at the Hyatt Regency for a de-stress massage and lying prostrate for a massage at the spa, grabbed just about everything. As the masseur got his fingers rolling and the olive oil began to seep in, the detoxification and destressing clearly showed.
A rejuvenated and chirpy Sameer then hopped over to the Hyatt's Stax Restaurant for a wine and dine e x p e r i e n c e. Laid on the table was some exquisite white wine imported especially from France the Domaine Laroche Chablis. After tippling on the aperitif and munching on appetizers – some delectable chicken tikkas, pasta and arugula salads, Sameer was all revved up to gorge on the main course and chef Hemant Mehta presented him with an a la carte replete with some of the most exclusive and exotic kitchen preparations. Mulling over the vast spread of Italian and Indian cuisine Sameer finally settled down for some Murg Ka Kurchan, Chicken Balsamico and Spaghetti Penne cooked in fresh tomato sauce. Spooning a blueberry cheese cake while contemplating a trip to the gym Sameer said, "I thank the Manhattan Credit Card team for giving me the opportunity to avail of the experience of my choice. The de-stress massage was a soul rejuvenating experience, and the wine and dine experience was indeed a delightful treat."
