Jassi's departure from Gulmohour

Ok, so I am one biggest culprits when it comes to Purab vs. Armaan,
however, I wanted to place this post to shift gears a little bit. I wanted to
focus more on Jassi as this show is about Jassi, her family and her life
with Gulmohour.

Wednesday's episode was finally it for Jassi at Gulmohour and we won't
see her back there for awhile now. I put myself in her shoes and I
realized that she didn't just work there, she had embedded herself into
the company. Her friends, her love, her hard work, her success and
failures, I have been watching for a year and half. Jassi is still inspiration
to me, because as of Wednesday, she is still a trooper and I admire her
for that. Alas, she did what she had to do, but she was so sad and I was
sad for her. The song playing whie Jassi boarded the bus was so apt and
if you didn't catch the Wednesday episode, you wont' be able to grasp the
emotions.

Jassi, Bindiya, Maria, Nazneen and for sometime Maria and Veeru were
inseparable. I remember when they whole group got together to cook the
food for Armaan's engagement. They were and are a good team. They
accomplished together and made work look fun through their humor and
mischief.

Jassi accomplished a lot at Gulmohour and when given the chance she
always proved herself a hardworking and loyal employee. She went leaps
and bounds with Gulmohour and even got to go to Singapore! She would
cry to herself and never let anyone know if anything was bothering her.
She always tried to find a way out of difficult situations. She always
supported Armaan and stood by his side. Through the flashbacks while
Jassi was on the bus, you could feel her pain on having to leave
Gulmohour.

Her return to Gulmohour will be a new beginning as she will come back a
new woman and severed relationships can be mended. I was awaiting her
character makeover that has happened and the appearance makeover is
really just cosmetic. I think more importantly than seeing her
appearance makeover, I await the day that she will be reunited with her
family at Gulmohour and her love, Armaan.

Good observation.. But the truth remains that, we always love where we work.. But then we have to move on in life.. I know how Jassi feels, because trust me I have learnt a lot from my first company.. I guess we all will remember that.. but life is another name for moving on.. As for Armaan and Jassi, I still feel Armaan has a long way to go before he deserves Jassi for the way he has treated her.. I definitely do not want her to end with Purab, I hope and pray Purab is only returning as Micheal from BLF, but, I repeat, Armaan has a long way to go before he deserves a girl like Jassi..

But last wednesday, I felt most bad for Mallika. Very well potrayed by Rakshanda Khan.. To be ditched by the Armaan on the day of her mehandi, 2 days before her marriage, let alone engangement.. I have heard comments saying Armaan always said he didn't want to marry her, but we tend to forget, he never said that to Mallika or she wouldn't be in that position on that day...

Even in the trailor they showed for Monday, Armaan was still justifying to Mallika that he did what he did for Gulmohar.. he still doesn't have the courage to accpet it in front of everyone that he loves Jassi.. long long way to go..

agreed Laxmi! Long way to go for Armaan and I also noticed that he did
not have the courage to stand up to Mallika even while Mallika was
scolding Jassi for not having yet left. Rakshanda Khan's performance has
been hard core and I can't imagine the show without her. Mallika is quite
strongheaded so it has been quite a blow to find out about Armaan's
antics.

I also understand that we in real life do learn a lot from where we work at
at and sometimes have to move on. She has done what any of us would
have done in real life which is she quit and is trying something new.
Switching from real life to fairy tale, I think that is why I say upon Jassi's
return to Gulmohour cuz it is sort of a fairytale for me as I have been
following JJKN for so long and I am just looking for the fairytale ending.

I think I find myself in the position where Jassi's return to Gulmohour is
more important than her makeover. I know that I sounded a little out of
touch with reality and for that I apologize.

On a serious note,I agree with every single thing u said.

And yes,Armaan still has a loooooooong way to go before he can even think of deserving Jassi.Long long way.

But the journey has begun.And that is the most important step.

I like Armaan and want Jassi and Armaan to be together, but here's some critisicm for him :

What I didn't like about Armaan when he met Jassi last in her cabin was that not once did he ask for her forgiveness. Instead his words that put me off were -" why did you do that to me Jassi?" That was bad..

It appears to me that he sort of lives in 2 worlds.. real and imaginary. When he is with Jassi, he's in his imaginary world making promises that he wants to live up to, but when he is back in his real world and faced with a situation, cowardice takes the better of him. Sad to see him as such a weak person...

I love Jassi on the other hand and am zapped by her niceties.. but I think she needs to learn to be assertive, self-respecting and a little manipulative. When I say manipulative, I mean being able to handle people like Mallika and Aryan without taking their bullshit and without putting up a direct fight either!
