Jassi might not be a part of the board. Board members are those that hold major shares in the company. Jassi, from what I understand, is only an employee in Gulmohor.

Yes, I think Mallika should be part of the board. Probably we will have a clearer picture in the next few episodes.

Thanks for the update Deadly. I have the same question as Ash. Also isn't Jassi supposed to be at the meeting as well. I think Puru is just doing this because Aryan probably told him about Jassi being the CEO and he wants Armaan to admit to it. And if Jassi doesn't get the majority vote he will have to tell them. Puru probably also wants to see Jassi's reaction because he might think that if she becomes CEO she might only do what Armaan wants. I f she gets mad then he'll see that she wants this position because she is worried about Gulmohur not abou what Armaan wants.

i wonder why purab is not wearing his glasses anymore? and has anyone else noticed that he has a tendency to stick his tongue out whenever he is extremely happy. like when he was dancing with jassi during gogaa's wedding, his tongue kept on coming out and going back in. he looked like a snake or something with his tongue flicking in and out. now i love purab, but that was just weird.

Puru just said that he will never doubt her cabability. I don't know why he didn't vote for her. And as for the notice I think Jassi send them around. But I am not really sure. And in the borad room there were only 4 people Puru, Ella, Raj and Armaan. Nobody mentioned Malika or Maddy. Because I think even Maddy is the part of the board. They were only waiting for Aryan. I hope that clears everybody doubts. And thanks Nupur for clearing that out. That dialogue really went over my head. And Rifhat thanks for the blessings. Prayers and blessings means a lot to me.

It is not necessary for the entire board of directors to be present at the time of electing a chairman. In India, the minimum requirement is for 2/3 of the board to be present for the voting to be valid. (I think)

Maddy is not a part of the board. The board consists of top level positions - President, VPs of sales, marketing, HR, etc and the Financial Controller

I dont think Jassi can vote for herself even though she is VP Finance because that wouldn't be a fair voting procedure.

Somehow after all of yesterday's discussions I thought Mallika would definitely be there. Was there any mention or explanation of her absence in the episode?

After seeing today's episode, seems like Puru knows that Gulmohor is not doing well and Armaan wants to make Jassi Gulmohor's CEO for six months, because he (Armaan) is confident that Jassi will be able to bring Gulmohor in profit within these six months. What Puru does not know that Armaan has already made Jassi Gulmohor's CEO. The question still is- how did Puru know Armaan intention. They never showed Armaan (or anyone else) speaking to Puru about making Jassi Gulmohor's CEO.

Jassi passed an internal memo that she is the CEO of Gulmohor. A very strange action. I feel she should have waited for someone (Armaan/Raj/Puru) to do it.

Mallika absence was felt. I know from past episodes that she can vote (her vote helped in making Armaan Gulmohor's CEO). I don't think Jassi is a part of the board. Gulmohor being a privately owned company (my assumption), probably would have only family members/friends as the board members (basically the share holders). Yes Mystica, if Jassi was a part of the board, she would be unable to vote as this is about her.
