SidNi Drabble: Aashiqui
He looked at the crowd where she was standing ,how he had wanted her to be with him at this time but she chose someone else.
He was surprised and hurt to know she could leave him for money and power. He had always loved her with everything but she had left him in the crossroads.
His eyes met hers and an unknown message traveled between them. It led to him singing with a heavy heart and his voice came out more hoarse..
He knelt down closer to where she stood with Vishal ,her hands in a tight grip. She looked unaffected by what he sang ,her head was hung down!
Further ,he went and stood face to face with her and pulled her chin up but what he saw next was totally a shocker for him.
Her eyes were red with crying ,she was spilling unstoppable tears. The fact that she still cared for him and somewhere sometime had indeed loved him gave a sense of peace to him.
His hands dropped from her face and he held her hands. Roshni looked up to him and then her scared eyes turned to Vishal who was gritting his teeth in anger ,Siddharth saw the whole exchange!
She left his hand and Siddharth just stared helplessly at her ,he was broken beyond repair and her actions made the words he was singing come out with force.
The past came hurling in front of his eyes. Her sweet voice ringing in his ears how she would make it up to him after turning up late for their romantic dates.
'I am sorry na. You know I am like this ,now you have to deal with it!' her voice echoed and he remembered his own reply at the time.
'Yes now I have to bear you forever. Even if you want to leave someday I won't let you go,get it!' he had said taunting at her smirking.
'Agar main kisi din chod ke chali gayi then it would be because of your happiness ,never forget this.' her words struck back to him and tears made way out of his eyes.
Siddharth jerked her closer but she resisted his touch ,her tears coming out with more fervour. As their eyes met ,the hurt and pain in both of them was completely visible.
He left her knowing she didn't leave him for the reason he thought ,she left because she loved him ,she loved him truly!
One more look in her eyes and he knew he would lose himself ,so he averted his gaze. Her condition was no less ,she was desperate to come back to him but the situation didn't let her do so.
"How many times do I need to tell you to be away from him Roshni?" Vishal came and roared at her. He wanted to punch the hell out of Vishal but resisted the urge to do the same.
She turned back last time to see him and mumbled a faint apology. "Sorry" he read her soft moving lips and then she disappeared.
"My Roshni forever!" he said slowly ,a faint softness engulfing him. He stared at his guitar on which he had engraved their initials R&S.
His gaze went back to her departing figure and a small smile formed on his face ,although she left him but he was sure she would be back.
On the other hand Roshni was helpless ,she loved Siddharth alot ,so much that she had to leave so that his career kept on going.
Vishal ,the head of the biggest Music company had given him a break and she couldn't let his dreams crumble.
"I will be back when my Siddharth will rule the world like a Rockstar!" she promised herself wiping her tears and went away.
Sometimes in life we need to let go ,because if something or someone is in our destiny ,that will return back!
