A BIT OF PAST

'Well I am really happy for joining hands in business with a company of your's...hope we will enjoy it through out' he said sounding genuinely happy as he shook hands with him 'feeling is mutual Mr.khanna...I am glad we are taking this forward' he replied sounding happy too as they were trying to work out with this deal from past one week 'ohh come on Siddharth don't act formal call me Sumit...' he argued while Sid nodded 'sure, sumit' he said smiling and with that they both walked out of the meeting room towards Siddharth's cabin
'So what are your plans...staying here until we start the work or will join me as we start to work on it after 3 weeks?' Siddharth asked as they both sat in his cabin sipping there coffee 'oh no Man!! I am staying in Mumbai only and yeah this question reminds me to invite you' he said whild Siddharth frowned
'Invite?' He asked 'yeah...it's my engagement tomorrow with the lady I love madly...you have to come and about invitation card sorry I didn't brought it here but you will get it at your place by evening' he finished while Siddharth shook his head 'sumit I don't think I will be able to...' 'come on Siddharth we just signed a deal...you just have to take out one or two hours from your busy schedule and I am sure you will...I won't hear any excuse so be there on time' he said in no mode to hear any other excuse and Siddharth gave in nodding in yes
'Ohkay I will see you later then...have to take my soon to be fiace for shopping' he said as they shook hands and left while Siddharth sat there remembering his last conversation with roshni one week ago 'you were lying na roshni? ' he asked as he took out her picture from his side drawer and caressed it while blinking his eyes to keep back the tears which were all ready to flow
He stopped the car in front of DD jewellers...
Roshni looked at him confused 'sumit we did all the shopping then are we here at a jewellery shop?' She asked noticing her mother's shop not wanting to come across her and then tell her about her engagement...neither she want sumit to have a slightest idea about her past...but sigh he is the only person who have those guts to argue with her even when she rejected his proposal two years ago it didn't brought any change in the unique relationship they shared
He came in her life when she was in her seventh month of pregnancy...she didn't knew that Almighty God will bless her with a friend like him..even though she didn't expected any good thing which can happen in her life after from what she went through
But no one can challenge the confusing thing called life ... it pass in It's way...after giving her so many sorrows to cry over all her life it also gave her a true companion called sumit as a healing power at her unhealed wounds ...she saying yes to his proposal was somehow a result of her jealousy which she felt after seeing Siddharth and misha together but after thinking about in this one week she realized that he deserve to be with her after whatever he did for her in past seven years...even though he don't know anything about her past but still can do anything for her...even though she never shared the reason of her pain with him at the time she was broken but he was still there to help her take in this miserable pain
'Ruh where are you lost? I told you na that we still have to buy an engagement ring for you...so let's go it's the best jewellery shop here' he said bringing her out of her thoughts 'who will know it better than me' she mumbled as she came out of car and walked in the shop along with him not knowing that how will durga react
'Roshni' said kesar surprised seeing her at there shop and bablu ran in to call DD and shiv who now run there business together... 'ruh you know them?' Asked sumit as DD and shiv too come out and were surprised to find her too..roshni slightly nodded 'errr!! Sumit they are my family... my elder chahu kesar patel..younger chachu bablu patel and they are my mom dad' she said straight without any feeling of awkwardness
Sumit was shocked for a moment but recovered from that emotion as soon as he felt...he always knew that her past is not less than any misery but never questioned her about it because he wanted her to find him a friend and not someone whom she Is indebted too...he knew that she is roshni and not ruhi but when she decided too change her identity after anaya was born he supported her and now for him a girl called roshni who was borken badly from heart and needed to be healed with love which she somehow lost is a long lost memory and yeah not to miss out she isn't healed yet...
Soon roshni broke the news of her engagement with sumit the next day to all the Patel's...at first they were hurt that the news was hidden from them but later they themselves thought for some reasonable excuses that may be she didn't wanted the Khurana's to get to know about it after her number got leaked may be she can't trust her long forgotten family too...they let it go and blessed the couple and soon they selected a ring for roshni and left but sumit didn't forgot to invite them saying they are always welcomed in there house and life and don't need some formal invitation for it...
As Siddharth reached home late he was informed about the invitation send by some Mr.Khanna ... he didn't paid much attention to it and told everyone about getting ready for it tomorrow as they will go there for sure and everyone agreed
Next Day was filled with hustle bustle...Roshni's banglow was beautifully decorated for the engagement and everything was personally handled by sumit who was really happy about it...
In no time it was night and the function started...guest started to come and soon Siddharth reached there along with his little family...sumit was happy to see him and meet his family as if they know each other for so long...he was really a jam at heart which any person can understand
'Ahhh there she comes' sumit called out happily as his eyes landed at her while sipping his drink standing with Siddharth...Siddharth too looked in the direction sumit was looking and his world stop at just one look at the fairy who was descending from the stairs dressed in a baby pink colour sleeveless gown with an elegent pendent of RS in her neck and she wore simple yet beautiful earning in her ears and all this was matching with her dress and her minimum make-up and natural beautiful was making her the most beautiful woman at the party
Where he was shocked as his worst fear came true as she really decided to move on she too was in shock not because of she was sacred in getting engage in front of him but because he may get to know about her daughter...as sumit came forward to hug her and compliment her for making every women in the party jealous she gave him an excuse that she needed to set her hairs once more and left
Sumit was confused a bit because ruhi singhania never stumbles with her words and actions but thought to not care much as she is a strong woman
'But mom why...I want to see sumit uncle it's your party' anaya cried out 'baby I know you want to be with us but I have some really serious reasons for not letting you come down...I promise that soon after the guest left we three along with uncle's family and nano's family will celebrate together...please shona understand mom's problem please' roshni requested while anaya thought for a moment 'fine but Will you allow me to skip school the day after tomorrow?' She asked with a cute giggle and roshni unwillingly agreed ... kissed her forehead and left to face HIM yet again
