Chapter 5
Siddharth turned in his bed restlessly , he wanted to talk to her though his mind knew it wasn't right but his heart wasn't listening to him.
Roshni on the other hand sat crying her heart out , how could she let him get so close to her ,share her heart with him. She needed her answers right now because the person she saw in front of her was someone other than whom she knew him to be.
So she decided it was time to confront him. Hence she called him , the answers were gonna come to her she wasn't gonna demand them!
"Hello!" she heard from the other end and for a moment she contemplated whether she should answer as Roshni or not.
"Hi Siddharth" was all he heard and soon he sat up on his bed , a different level of excitement overtook him but she cursed herself for talking to him.
They both had reasons to talk as well as ignore. Roshni's reason to ignore was as this man was her enemy , she seeked revenge from him and Siddharth just wanted to be away from love , he didn't know but his previous heartbreak had hardened him up.
The reason to talk was quite clear , they both had started falling in love with each other or maybe they already were.
"Ms. Shekhawat?" Siddharth questioned after a while. Roshni realised that she was here for a mission but before that she wanted one happy memory.
"Mr. Khurrana , I've heard you sing extremely well. I would love to hear something right now , I'm in need of relaxing." she told him.
He smiled and asked ,"Wow that's a pleasant surprise but I would love to sing for you." he stated and dashed inside to get his guitar.

He strummed the strings and hummed along , he had his eyes closed. He just didn't want her to go. She smiled slightly hearing him sing so.
She put the phone on speaker and started dancing along as he sang. She was loving this feeling , someone singing just for her and he was enjoying singing expressing his feelings.

She came and lay down next to her phone , his voice played like magic in her ears and his voice resonated her thoughts.
He kept on going and in no time he realised she'd slept. Siddharth stopped the guitar , he was content knowing she liked him playing for her.
He didn't cut the call and dozed off keeping it close to his heart. Next morning , the phone's ring caught his eyes and he picked it up without a second thought.
"Hi Rosh.." he couldn't even complete his sentence after what he heard cutting it for him ,"God , this is god. Stop fantasising and answer my questions." the girl's voice came from the other end.
"What question and who are you , calling yourself God? Tell me something no one but god would know." he tackled and smirked as he was sure he'd caught her this time.
"How about we talk about Neha Patel?" questioned the voice with a tinge of sarcasm in it. Siddharth almost had a fit in the moment he heard her name, all the memories came flashing in front of his face.
"What about her? How do you know her?" asked Siddharth in a jittery tone , apart from him only Yash knew what happened.
"Neha Patel , your ex-girlfriend , your girlfriend when you were a Casanova and not the lieutenant you are now , am I right or am I right?" asked the voice frightening him.
"No one knows what I've gone through." he almost yelled when on the other side he heard her say ,"But I do , tell me Siddharth!"
He didn't know why but he wanted to tell her all that happened in the past. He started his story by telling her about his break up.
Flashback
"Siddharth , you need to get over her! She left you for another guy ,shit happens. Forget her and move on." Yash advised.
"That's the thing Yash , she changed me from a Casanova to a one-woman kind of guy." he said defiantly and Yash went away feeling sympathetic.
Two days after
"Help...Sidd..." and the line went dead , he could hear Neha calling him for help but where. He immediately tracked her location and rushed to her help.
Siddharth still cared for her , even after whatever she did with him , he couldn't forget her , why was life so harsh , he just wanted her to be safe.
Present
Siddharth was crying uncontrollably now , although he was remembering his past but what happened next was really tough for him to describe.
"You mean Neha broke up with you and you weren't the one who did. You weren't involved in her murder?" she asked from the other end and Siddharth was skeptical for a moment.
"Wait I am thinking you're someone who knows her. How do you know her and who are you?" he asked now getting highly frustrated.
"Tell me the story further , I need to know." the voice of God came and Siddharth wanted to deny but took it out , he needed to share this.
"I reached the house and saw her burning alive , I tried to save her , I was ready to jump in the fire for her but at that very moment Yash came there and he pulled me out from there." Siddharth remembered the time and closed his eyes in fear.
"Neha burnt herself alive?" the other voice came in his ears and suddenly it turned to a shrill shout ,"She can never kill herself , you liar!" she called out.
"I won't lie when it concerns a person whom I loved even more than myself." Siddharth said and cut the call not wanting to listen to anyone anymore.
He was in a fit of rage , he never wanted to remember her again but this goddamned god had made him remember her.
Siddharth was all set to throw his phone when he got shocked seeing his screen! He sat down and double checked his call log only to get the shock of his life.
"Roshni called 25 minutes ago and I was talking to her means she's the one pretending to be god!" he joined the dots and this time his anger knew no bounds , he threw the phone smashing it to pieces.
"Roshni is spying on me , she's pretending to be god , she wants information on Neha , she wants to make me miserable ,she loves me? Nothing fits!" he thought after a while when he had calmed down.
"Two can play at a game Ms. Roshni Shekhawat!" Siddharth stood up and decided it was time to keep aside his feelings and get to know the real motive behind Roshni's acts.
On the other side Roshni was confused more and more , she wasn't able to put two and two together. She had no clue what to make of it.
"Neha told me Siddharth killed her in her last letter!" Roshni remembered , she rummaged her stuff for the letter , she had to read it again.
As soon as she found it she started reading it ,
Hello Roshni Di ,
I know by the time you get this I wouldn't be in this world but before going away I want to tell you who killed me , it was my boyfriend di. Take revenge on him , he shouldn't get away just by being proven guilty in court , make him pay , break his heart. I know I can't write much , my pen is shivering , he has gone inside to get things to burn me alive , I don't have much hope , I just want to die after all I have chosen this way. I was wrong in taking my decision , I was wrong in loving him , I am a betrayer.

Roshni read it a number of times and her mind was about to burst , she wanted to kill him but what if he was saying the truth? What if Neha actually broke up with him and all this that happened within two days was done by someone else?
"I need to talk to Siddharth for the trust I have on him." Roshni thought but then another thing came in her mind , "Do I deserve his trust after what I did to him?"
Both of them had contradicting emotions for each other now , Siddharth was angry and Roshni was confused.
Next Day
"Okay Gentlemen , today is free flight day. Let's just go alone and enjoy the beauty." the chief instructed motioning to the jets.
Siddharth put on his glasses and started moving towards his plane when a hand pulled him inside a shed near the base.
"Yes Ms. Roshni shekhawat what's the matter or should I say Ms. Roshni Patel? Sister of Neha Patel or oh may I refer to you as God?!" he finished and looked to her folding his arms , a new attitude overtaking him.
"Listen to me Siddharth!" she tried calling him down , she had to! He knew her truth , she had to know his.
"No you listen to me , I had started trusting you , I had started falling in lo..". he stopped blurting out his feelings , it was useless to say this to her now.
"I don't even want to see your face now , you want to break me? You want to play with me? Let's see you do that!" he challenged angering her.
"I just want to know your truth Siddharth , I need to know and I've come here to talk because of the trust I have on you." she said trying to keep her anger in check , for Neha and for herself and Siddharth.
"Your trust , your sister , your truth!! What about me Roshni?" he asked , a vulnerable tune taking over his demeanor.
"Please let us talk , I know I was wrong somewhere! I don't even know trusting you is correct or not. I just want justice for my sister and I know believing you I'm playing a gamble but I want to do this for Neha and moreover for us!" she told expectantly.
He looked at her and was in a dilemma as to what to do. Roshni herself wasn't sure what his response would be but she hoped for the best.
Two hearts stood at the crossroads , if they would move ahead together or on two different paths was yet to be seen!
