I am really enjoying watching Jamai Raja, I never seen Nia Sharma acting before but it's pleasant surprise, she pulls of Roshni very well. I think the casting is perfect for this show.
Also I really like the concept, nearly all the show I have seen or is on TV, there's a strong emphasis on daughter and saas relationship so the concept of a relationship between jamai raja with mother in law, it's a exciting concept and can't wait for it to be fully explored.
I really like DD character, yes her behavior might be extreme but from a mother point of view, I can understand. As audience we seen Sids character and we know how awesome good he is, but from DD POV, she just has seen someone from a lower class marrying her only daughter, every mother has a dream that their daughter marries their stature or above, but mostly they will be looked after and cherished for life. DD has yet to see this so we have a angry saas right now.
Now Sid will do all that, but DD perception of Sid character has been negative since his earlier antics and marrying Roshni, well that just woke the sleeping dragon.
However I think DD will mellow, right now DD is all about humiliating Sid, showing Roshni her choice is wrong, but there will come a turning point in their relationship, not sure when or how, but it will come, that DD will see Sid in another light and see he isn't a gold digger and just maybe he is worthy of Roshni.

Also Sids secret, with his parents, Babloo knowing about it, that is going to blow up in everyone face. Sid believes that he is doing right but it will be a big betrayal for Roshni, that the person she loved betrayed her, lied to her, the whole basis of their marriage was a lie. Roshni won't be able to forgive Sid and there will most likely be a separationđ.
I think the person who will bring them together will be DD. The reason why, if DD accepted Sid after the secret is out, then Roshni will retaliate DD is only accepting because of Sid wealth and stature.
That's why I think DD will mellow, she won't become a typical saas, she will retain some grey (I prefer her that way) but I think after all the hurdles Sid will face because of DD, DD will see Sid in another light which will be why her advice to Roshni will be important as she is a character who hates or hated Sid, she sees something in Sid, so the advice she will give to Roshni, will be a mother to her daughter.
I think think Roshni Nani will be the next person to find out the truth, because if Kesar, Resham know, they will just blab to DD and the nani will keep the truth so when the truth comes out, I think ROSHNI will feel extremely hurt, that Sid, Sid parents, Babloo chacha and Nani knew the truth.
So will DD mellow, yes, eventually but I hope DD remains to her character. I like her character, she's a independent strong women but I also like she has that arrogance, which she can pull.
It will be a long journey but I am truly looking to the day when we see DD and Sid relationship improving, where DD can respect Sid and Sid one day, helping Roshni and her mother relationship.
Anyway what do you think, will DD change her behaviour to Sid before the Secret is out or After? And who do you think will find out the secret next?
