Neha as an individual.

I know that Neha and Aman's love story is an integral part of the show. And to be honest I am a hopeless romantic at heart 😆 but I don't want Aman to be Neha's only focus in life. She has lost a lot of time and valuable years have whizzed past her. I think Neha should also focus on herself - her identity and who she is. I hope the CVs work on Neha as an individual, along with her and Aman's love story.

I completely agree with you. But with the way the story is progressing, I feel like this show is the one-girl-changing-the-life-of-all-the-people-she-meets kinda story & so even though it will center around her, more than her growth, it is the changes that she brings to people that will be emphasized.

I wish I am wrong. I prefer the story to be wholesome, with the focus on both sides- both the way Neha affects people & the way people affect Neha. That would make it seem less idealistic & at least allow people to see that Neha is not perfect. She is as flawed as we are, just that she has that one quality that many of us lose as we grow up.

I'm in a sleepy mode, so I hope I made sense😆

The lovestory shouldn't be the main attraction of the show. Even though I'm also a hopeless romantic but, Neha should have many things in life to look forward to.

Agreed. 👍🏼 Neha has missed 12 years of her life. It's bound to cause her pain (as it has) and the CVs cannot expect to just transition into a love story or a she-changes-everyone-else story without showing the impact it has on her.

I think there is still the fact that she thinks like a 14 year old that will come into play eventually. In order to show that, I think they'll have to show her being impacted by others.

Too tired to tell if my post doesn't make sense... 😆

I agree with u but doubt that will happen as at the age of 12 she never seemed to think of a career or what she will do but just that she will have love marriage with aman. That is what I interpret when they show her talking to past friends and family.

I think the whole point of the show is not about her so called 'rediscovery' or 'growth' that she has missed out on for her to have her identity.

The show is about how by bringing in the 'child' within us we can solve day to day problems and bring a little bit of happiness to ourselves and others.

Fighting for our individuality, do we sometimes forget to be happy and bring happiness to others??

Valid points.

@bold: yes I think you're right about this. I guess it's more about what difference Neha makes in the lives of others, more than anything else.

On a different note: I've read your posts in various forums. (most recently humari sister didi) I've always found your comments to be well balanced and thoughtful :)

True. Neha does have many things to look forward to in life...especially due to lost time. She's missed out on a lot. Let's see how CVs shape the storyline in the coming future.

PyaarDostiHai...nice username :)

Your post makes perfect sense. Not to worry 😆 I keep on forgetting the fact that Neha is like a 14 year old. I wonder how the CVs will show Neha's transition from a child to a young woman.
