Chapter 39

Nachikets birthday was a small affair. He didn't want to tire Ragini. Only karan and dimpy were invited. Ragini was dressed in a sky blue anarkali. Nachiket couldn't keep his eyes off her. He noticed her back was hurting. He got her a hot water bag to make her back feel better while she sat on the couch.

K - we have a gift for you guys

R - why us both?

D - nachiket won't have all dat fun alone.

N - what is it?

D - we are sending you on a babymoon

N - what? We cant go. Maa is unwell.

M - i am fine. You cancelled your honeymoon already for me.

R - so where are we going. You guys have to care for maa

D - Goa. You guys will enjoy 3nights and 4days in a seven star hotel. With a private butler in the honeymoon suite.

K - aunty will stay with us.

N - i have work. Already aman hates me. Let me speak to him about my leave

K - do that. You are going this week

N - not sure if it will be possible. But i will try

The next day, nachiket went to speak to aman.

A - sure take the leave. But first see this file

Nachiket read the file and lost his cool.

N - this is all a lie. I have nothing to do with this. I never agreed to this supplier.

A - but he is ready to tell the police he bribed you in Delhi.

N - what do you mean? Come to the point

A - leave this hospital for good and i will make this file disappear

N - if i dont?

A - i will see to it that you and your family are humiliated. That pregnant wife of yours won't be able to take it

N - mind your language

A - its my hospital. Take your leave and resign when you return. You may leave now

Nachiket called Karan to make Goa bookings. They would leave in the morning. He called Ragini and told her to pack. Ragini was excited but Nachiket was worried about how she would react

Chapter 40

Nachiket came home and went straight to the room. Ragini knew something was wrong. She followed him in the room and saw him standing in the balcony staring blankly.

R - Nachiket change karlo. Maa has made dhoklas and tea.

N - ok

R - we need to look for a part time maid. Maa won't let me do much. I dont want her to get sick

N - sure

R - sunny tai is back from her village visit. I will call her after our goa trip

N - ok

R - i went with Salman Khan on a lunch date today

N - ok...what?

R - finally i have your attention. Tell me whats bothering you?

Nachiket told her everything. Ragini just hugged him tight.

R - don't get pressurized by him. We have invested a lot of our career in that hospital. Why quit for amans lie? Lets fight him

N - Ragini any other time I would have but i cant risk your health now. Maa also is sickly

R - i am stronger than you think

N - are you sure.

R - yes. Pam and Rk are coming to India in two days. We will all figure this out. Aman will have to change his wrong ways. Trust me. You told me that day not to leave the hospital and now you can't quit either

N - i am so proud of you

R - lets eat now. These babies love dhokla. I already ate one serving.

N - chalo

Nachiket briefed Pam, Rk, Karan and Dimpy about aman. Rk and Karan began digging up dirt on Aman.

In the hospital

A - hi. How are you? Hope you are happy nivedita

Ni - not yet. Neil will fight back.

A - i doubt he will. Raginis health is more important than his career.

Ni - he will. I know him. I heard Pam is relocating to India.

A - so?

Ni - that woman will harm anyone who may harm her brother.

A - they can cause me no harm. Neil was visibly shaken when i threatened him.

Ni - make it a point to remind Neil about his resignation on his babymoon.

A - do you fancy a little holiday in Goa

Ni - yes. Our mere presence will ruin their holiday. We have to do nothing. By the way my boyfriend will accompany me

A - that old man. He is 20 years older than you

Ni - but he is rich. I live like a queen.

A - whatever works for you. See you in Goa then.

Neil should buy his own hospital and beat aman that way I love how nachiket tells her everything and they figure it out together. Can we please have a long long update next please
