Ragini called Nachiket
R - hi. When are you reaching home?
N - in another 5 minutes.
R - ok. Do i really have to go? I dont even know them
N - your going for me. I need your company
R - there will be many to give you company. Can i stay home please?
N - no. If you come along. I will take you for ice cream to your favourite place.
R - now thats a bribe i can't resist
Nachiket got home. He saw Ragini in a saree after a long time. He couldn't take his eyes off her. But he just distracted himself. He quickly had a shower and as usual Ragini had his clothes ready.
Ragini looked at Nachiket. He looked flawless. She smiled at how he could still fit into his clothes with ease. He didn't even exercise much. But he played for a good 3 hours with the kids every evening.
Once they reached the venue Ragini got even more conscious. All the women were drooling over Nachiket but he had his hand securely around her waist. He introduced her to everyone. She heard some ladies pass comments about how handsome Dr. Neil wa and how his wife looked out of place with him. Ragini excused herself and went to the washroom. She calmed herself and then walked out.
When she walked out she saw a lady trying to get too close to Nachiket. He was trying to be polite and move away. His back was towards Ragini.
Lady - Neil, why are you getting so conscious. I really like you.
N - i am sorry. You can like me. But i am madly in love with my wife
Ragini smiled when she heard that
Lady - now thats a lie. Your wife doesn't look like she should deserve a husband like you. She is so ugly
N - thats about it. I don't have to clarify how beautiful i find my wife to a stranger.
Nachiket turned around to find an awkward Ragini standing. She smiled a bit and turned around to leave. He quickly held her hand and excused themselves from the party and left. They sat in the car and left the venue. Ragini looked out of the car with a blank expression. He knew she was hurt. As promised he took her to the ice cream shop.
He got one bowl with all their favourite flavours. And two spoons. They sat and ate when Nachiket finally spoke up.
N - i am sorry you had to hear that.
R - its ok. She was not entirely wrong. I do look a little ugly
Ragini got up and walked towards the car. Nachiket followed her.
N - what did you say. Stop Ragini
He held her close. She was crying
N - Ragini don't cry because of that lady. She doesnt know us and how deep our love is.
R - i know your still being faithful to this marriage. But let me know if you want to walk away. I stand by my offer to set you free from our arrangement. I know you will never leave the kids. I wont break you from them ever.
Nachiket was left stunned
N - walk away from you. Did you not hear me tell her i love you?
R - you think you do or maybe you still do. But there may come a time when you wont. I wont hold you back
N - what has happened to you. Look Ragini i know the weight gain is bothering you. But it doesn't change a thing between us
R - you really think so. In the last 3 months you have taken good care of me as a patient. You may cuddle me at times or hug me. An odd kiss on the forehead or cheek. But its not like before.
N - Ragini its not what your thinking
R - i really hope so. I dont want the kids to suffer in a broken house. Or maa to now have to worry about my broken marriage
N - first of all there is no broken marriage. Do you know how difficult it is for me to keep away from you
R - i am sure the weight helps with that
Nachiket pushed her behind the car where noone could see them. He plastered her against the car and kissed her like there was no tomorrow. Ragini was too stunned to react. His hands were inside her saree sensously touching her. He deepened the kiss as Ragini began responding. He crushed his entire body weight on her. She could feel he was completey aroused. They kissed for a long time. Nachiket didnt let go. When he did he picked up his phone and walked away to make some booking.
N - lets go. Don't say another word till we reach. Sit in the car.
They reached Karans hotel. Karan wasn't there this late. Ragini wondered what they were doing there if Karan was home.
Nachiket went to the reception and did some formalities. He then pulled Ragini to the lift and they went straight to they honeymoon suite.
R - Nachiket...
Nachiket didn't answer her. He opened the room and pulled her inside. He threw of his jacket and tie.
N - come here
Ragini walked upto him
N - three months i kept away from you because i was scared. When you fainted before the delivery and had that surgery i blamed myself for it. You were so weak after we came home. You couldn't feed the kids or eat your own food without my help. I was the cause for that. But you think i don't love you. One kiss had me aroused after a fight. Ragini i am crazy about you but i am scared to harm you
R - you never caused me harm. The pregnancy was the best gift ever. I was proud to give birth to our kids
N - i am proud of you as well. This weight is also my pride. I am not ashamed or put off by it. I love you dammit. Why do you keep questioning my love and belittle it. Tell me what i can do to make you trust what we have. When another lady says something i want you to stand up for us. Not question me. Do you know how much you have hurt me today?
Ragini sat on the bed with a jerk. She realised what she had done. She questioned his unconditional love. She hurt him.
R - i am sorry. Can you forgive me
N - can you trust me as your life partner ?
Ragini ran and hugged him. He held her close
R - i don't trust myself. I am sorry. Please
N - shhh. You heard what just happened
R - what?
N - the clock struck 12. Happy marriage anniversary darling.
R - its today
N - yes. I had already booked this room last week. I only confirmed the booking. I told maa we will be out late. Dimpy has gone to help with the kids. Now can you wish me?

Ragini just kissed him back. Nachiket carried her to the bed. He threw his shirt off. He moved to her neck and began undoing her saree. He threw it away in one swift move and in no time they were naked under the covers. He kept kissing her all over her body. He was about to enter her when he pulled his pant to get something. It was a condom. Ragini smiled at his concern.
After that there was no turning back. Nachiket made love to her all night. Ragini responded to his every touch. He finally let go of her early in the morning. He pulled her close to sleep. They slept out of exhaustion and got up around 2pm
N - ready for another round.
R - nachiket. The kids must be waiting.
N - today their mummy is for their daddy. I have the room booked till tomorrow. We are not going anywhere.
Nachiket pulled her for another long session of love making. They had lunch around 5pm. After which Nachiket pulled her for another hot session. At night they went out for dinner. Nachiket already had got them some clothes to wear to the dinner. After dinner she pleaded with him to go home and spend some of the anniversary time with the kids. Nachiket finally gave in and took her home.
