Chapter 37
Ragini resumed work in a few days. Nachiket drove her both ways. On rare occasions when he had to stay late either karan or dimpy picked her up. He made a no work on weekend clause unless there was an emergency surgery. In two months time Raginis baby bump was visible.
The board meeting was on
A - Dr. Neil with your new personal commitments i don't think you are as passionate about the new wing as you were before.
N - i have my personal life which is my priority now. But it has not affected my work.
A - i would like to propose that the board consider a replacement for Dr. Neil in this project. We need someone here on the weekends. We are ready to pay more. I have some options. Dr. Neil can still act as a consultant.
Aman convinced the board and said that his trust would pull finances if Dr. Neil continued. Nachiket backed out from the project. He was disappointed but he was looking forward to his child more than any other thing in the world.
Aman bumped into Ragini in the corridor
A - congratulations! Your in the family way
R - thanks
A - too bad the baby hasn't been too lucky for dr. Neil
R - what do you mean?
Aman told her everything
R - Nachiket loves this baby. Its the father in him that is taking the decisions now. But the Doctor in him will always be passionate about what he does. He is meant for great things. This is just a hiccup
Nachiket was listening to this conversation from behind. He was proud he married Ragini who understood his every decision.
A - he is meant for great things. He managed to get you pregnant on the first night apparently. You told me you could not concieve. Were you trying to save your self for him even if you married me?
N - dr. Aman
Nachiket yelled as Ragini felt embarrassed and began crying softly.
N - this is the last time you talk to my wife about anything but work. And if you do i will see to it that you are finished
Nachiket held raginis hand and walked to her cabin.
A - i will see who finishes whom. You will pay for what you said
Ragini was sobbing holding onto Nachiket
R - i don't want to work here
N - dont let aman win. You put so much into this hospital. Everyone looks upto you
R - can we go home?
N - you rest for a while. I have my last consultation now. Wait outside my cabin in half an hour.
Instead of going home Nachiket took Ragini to do some shopping. He asked her to pick anything she likes to eat or drink as long as its permitted. They got home and stocked her fridge. It was Friday and maa had gone to Pune for a wedding. Raginis pregnancy worked wonders on maas health. Her reports were getting better.
N - what do you want for dinner
R - can we have a maggi and butterscotch ice cream date
Ragini wrapped her arms around his neck
N - if you wear one of the new sarees i got you. I can set us up a proper date in the balcony
R - done. Which new saree red or blue?
N - i feel like blue
Ragini knew what that would mean. She had a shower and wore the blue lace saree. She had blue lingerie on from the wedding night. The saree blouse had a deep cleavage and back. Ragini would never wear this outside. It was only for nachiket.

When she was putting on her lipstick Nachiket entered the room.
N - wow. Thats way too sexy.
R - thanks to you all my sexy clothes are only in blue. What is with this colour that others don't have. Blue is normally for boys
Nachiket hugged her from the back.
N - i makes your eyes shine and you define sexy in blue
Nachiket began nibbling her ear and neck. He threw her pallu down. They were in front of the mirror looking at each others reflection
N - you see what i mean
R - even with this baby bump
N - yes
R - lets go eat first. Maggi doesnt taste nice cold.
Nachiket reluctantly went with her to eat.
N - dinner done. Lets go back to where we were in the bedroom
R - first my ice cream
N - ice cream is just fine cold. We can have it later
Nachiket carried Ragini and placed her on the bed. Within no time they were naked and making hot love under the covers. After a few rounds Ragini was tired. Nachiket went to the kitchen and bought the entire tub. With one spoon and an ice cream scoop.
N - eat all you want.
He held on to the scoop. Once Ragini was done with how much she wanted he looked at her seductively.
N - now my turn to enjoy the ice cream.
He blind folded her eyes. Laid her on the bed and pushed the covers away. He then placed scoops of ice cream on her body on different spots. He ate the ice cream from her body using his mouth. Ragini was taken aback. She was mourning his name loudly. Once he was done he got rid of the blind fold and they made love again multiple times. Ragini put her head on his shoulder to sleep.
N - i am so glad maa is away
R - why? Not like you stay away from me when she is here
N - wifey. You were calling out my name so loudly
R - that was intense. I don't remember much. How can you get so turned on with me putting on weight?
N - you look more sexy with the curves.
Ragini blushed and began getting up
N - where are you going.
R - i need to shower
N - i will come along
R - no. I am exhausted. I need to sleep.
N - its ok. We have loads of time till maa returns
R - aren't you getting too bold
N - you are to blame for that
Ragini knew she couldn't win this argument and walked away while Nachiket chuckled.
On the other hand aman was already plotting against Nachiket. He spent the entire weekend trying to make his plan to see that Nachiket was destroyed.
