Later that evening the kids had gone to bed so had maa and sunny tai. Ragini was still awake she went into their room.
Bedroom
Ragini got changed and went to bed but she could not sleep the room felt so big and empty the light was on but she was still sacred she looked at the empty sofa and tears came to her eyes she was missing him he had only been gone a few hours but why did she not tell him that she too wanted to give their relationship a second chance that she still loved him she had always loved him had she blown her chance to be with her nachiket again he had told everyone he loved her and wanted to be with her and she stayed quiet why? She did not sleep all night all she kept thinking if he did not come back she would only have her self to blame she should have told him how she felt before he left.
One week later
It had been a week since nachiket and ranbir had gone ragini had spoke to him a few time but it was always the hello how are u phone calls nothing big. 18 years ago when nachiket had left it was both their faults they had put their ego before their love but this time it would be only raginis fault and her fear of being alone again. This past week ragini had kept herself busy with work so she did not have time to think about him but the nights were hard. She came home and aagham and suhanni were on the laptop "dad mum is home" "mum come on we just skyping dad" she nervously walked towards the laptop she sat down and looked at the screen he looked tired "hi ragini how are u" "i am fine how are u and how is ranbir" "we are both ok" she then heard a woman call him "neil are u busy" "sorry looks like we are disturbing you" "ragini its just my PA" she sighed with relief "sonu come here say hi to my wife" it felt so good when introucded her as his wife "hi ragini omg neil what a beautiful wife you have" ragini blushed at this the kids jumped in hi sonu they shouted they started talking and ragini excused herself.
Bedroom
She was arranging her things when she saw his shirt she picked it up and sat down on her bed the shirt still smelled of him his cologne she hugged the shirt and cried she wanted him to come back so bad but did she have any right to tell him to come back? They were married in name only. While outside nachiket was telling the kids when he was coming back but not to tell their mum.
3 days later
Morning
Ragini was at work it had been 10 days there was no sign of ranbir and nachiket coming back she felt like her world was crashing why did she not tell him she loved him. Her phone rang it was aagham "mum what time u coming home today" "same time beta 6 why" "no reason mum just wanted to say that come home on time today please" "ok beta i will".
Home
Aagham put the phone down and smiled at suhanni done mums home at six now all they needed was their dads flight to be on time.
Hospital 5.30pm
Ragini was leaving when Dr Aman stopped her "ragini i need you to look at his file" "sir i will do it tomorrow i am just going home i promised the kids i would be home on time" "this can't wait till tomorrow" she sat down and started going thru the file. She did not leave till half nine dr aman kept asking her questions and things.
Home 10pm
Everyone was waiting nachiket and ranbir were back aswell. Ragini came home and saw no one had eaten dinner she asked sunny tai why when suddenly a voice said "we were waiting for you to come" he was back. She turned around to see him standing at the bedroom door he looked tired but so handsome. He looked at her she could feel his eyes on her. "When did u get back" "a few hours back" the kids came out of their room how did u like our suprise mum she looked and saw ranbir "it is very nice suprise let me go freshen up and lets have dinner" she walked past him and into the bathroom. She stood against the door and sighed her heart was racing all she could say was he came back she felt like her heart was going to jump out of her chest she was so happy to see him and ranbir back.
Kitchen
She had managed to composed herself enough to come out and have dinner.
