This is really an excellent post .. This is very true .. You have analyzed it perfectly.. I wish Nachiket never starts blasting Pam for this FL2 chapter and what's all that has happened .It's Nachiket's fault..
Pam genuinely wants to see her brother happy.. She did the biggest sacrifice by taking care of his children, without even thinking about her own happiness.

This too happens in real life .. Since childhood, brother and sister bond too well.. and after marriage, there ought to be some uneasiness.. sometimes the brother starts giving much more attention..listening to his wife's advices.. etc .. ought to bring a feeling of jealously ..

Well. I've not been fortunate to have a sister, but have witnessed it in my family..

So it's natural, for a sister, who loves her brother so much.. to be over-possessive.. Brother-Sister relationship is a much stronger one ..

So the best part will be .. Ragini tries to convince Pam .. with time.. I'm sure Pam will understand the importance of Ragini in her brother's life.. and all these years, he was so much in pain ..only because he loved her that much ..

Since we find dese relations in real life too... Its not necessary dat Nanand-Bhabi relation b all envious! Its a sweet-bitter relation and considering d fact dat Pam is educated lady she shudnt b shown blindly hating Ragini!

The thing is that she is irrational and obsessed beyond limits. She wants everything under her control.
It is clear she never liked Ragini, she just tolerated her for her brother's sake. When NR separated it was a blessing in disguise for her and she took everything under her control.

It is not like she never wanted Neil to marry and settle down..she made him go out on dates in US, brought FL2 in his life. She can let him be with anybody except Ragini, but why?? Her reasons are very irrational
She says Ragini didn't inform her about dadaji's death, but that was her brother's job naa. She says her brother went through a lot because of Ragini, when the separation was mostly because Neil refused to offer any explanation to salvage the relationship. So Neil himself induced all this sadness in his life. He could always return and prove his innocence easily.
Again she ignored all this sadness and loneliness because she couldn't let Ragini reenter his life.

I think the bottom line of all her issues is that SHE NEEDS CONTROL. She is okay with any bhabhi but the condition is she should remain the most important woman in her brother's life. Hell she even requires her bhabhi to follow her orders even when it comes to dealing with Neil as a wife (from her speech to nivedita). She lost that control when Ragini entered Neil's life. She regained it with the separation and now doesn't want to loose her control over Neil.

I totally agree with the bolded words.
Two things don't make sense for me, which why I am watching this show only half-heartedly now😭
Neil could easily prove his innocence and chose not to
And the reunion happened so quickly, with Suhani's effort. Why didn't someone think of DNA sooner? Didn't Neil and Ragini want to be together? Duhh
And why didn't Pam counsel Neil to attempt to fix the MU? Like any good caring sister would? For his brother's happiness and for his kids? She claims to know her brother better than anyone, so she must know what he really truly wants!
But no. She wants to control his life. She has issues and needs help.

A good post worth discussing.
The problem with Pam's definition of love is that she wants to control Neil's love life. She knows that Neil is still drawn to Ragini and still harbors deep feelings for her. Rather than realizing her brother never really stopped loving his wife, her desperation to get the roka done with Nivedita so Neil will be cornered speaks volumes. She even saw the "dark side" of Nivedita raise it's ugly head but her hatred for Ragini runs deep so she was ready to forgive her and still wanted her to marry Neil.

As Neil once told her, Pam made the choice to sacrifice her own love life for Neil's children. Holding him hostage by expecting him to fall in line with her choice of a life partner for him now shows her controlling nature. It was not clear if Neil actually told her to step into Ragini's shoes and be mother to his children and Rupali's too.

Neil and Ragini are learning the first and one of the most important lessons needed for a happy marriage...open lines of communications...never assume, always clear the air when and where misunderstandings are likely to crop up. Earlier on, their marriage didn't have the strong basis of trust and at the first sign of doubts the cracks became apparent.

Is Pam expecting the children and Neil to show their gratitude for her sacrifice by falling in line with her plans? She's managed to poison Ranveer's mind against his own mother. No matter how bitter her feelings for Ragini it was uncalled for on her part to poison the child's mind against Ragini. Ranveer speaks with the same bitterness Pam feels towards Ragini. Pam has a vindictive side to her. She and Nivedita have that something in common...their desperation to have it their way. Being a good mother means to teach children good values and not instill one's own hatred and bitterness in the children.
