He didn't know how long he stood there. It could have been seconds, days, years; he saw everything but did not comprehend anything. He could physically see his two kids stop dead in their tracks as they, too, heard the lady in the white coat, and then snap into reality and take swift steps to stand beside his first-born, take her and he better-half into hugs- seeking and providing comfort, but other than this, he couldn't process.

His life flashed before his eyes. SHE flashed before his eyes. Why wouldn't she, she was his life! From the first moment, that first meet, their childish fights when she cared for dada-ji, the way she comforted him after his grandfather's death, her care, her concern, her going away, realising her worth in his life, meeting her again, wooing her, romancing her, marrying her, loving her, leaving her and meeting again. Every look, every smile, every word spoken, every moment shared, ALL of it. And one question: Would he get the chance to live it again?

She observed the scene before her. She saw three very upset children of the woman inside that room, embraced tightly like interlocked fingers. Her heart went out to them, for she did realise the worth that woman inside the ICU held.. not only for them but to every single person who that woman had encountered in her life. She had been the ray of hope for so many people! Herself included... possibly near the very top of the list. There was so much that the now-a-leading-intern Dr Rhea Malhotra owed to Ragini Patel, for God knows that she might not even have been alive, had it not been for the woman who now lay bandaged in that white room! "please Ragini Dii! Wake up! You can't do this to us! You just can't!"

It could have been a lifetime before he moved, before he regained consciousness in the world of the living. Shattered beyond belief at this turn of events, he had slipped into a coma of his own, where he was awake, yet asleep; looked at everything yet didn't see anything; hearing things yet not listening to anything. Simply put, Nachiket Khanna was a mess. The Mister Perfect, I-always-have-everything-under-control was now losing it.. and he had no idea how to stop. Well actually, maybe one thing could stop it!

And unknown to the 6 worried-to-death people outside that door the "thing" was happening, as Ragini came back to world of the living!

I Know I know! Its been a long time.. and this is not a long enough update... Its actually just a filler.. I'm writing the next part and this wait will not be long.. PROMISE!!! Please do like and comment! Criticism appreciated!
