Not to be offensive, just saying my pov.

The thread is on the beggar woman /Agam/Suhani scene where they make the woman act as Kareena's mom. That is why.

I am not talking about any beggar/homeless person but this one who cons people to beg and is part of a conning game for money.

That is true. That is part of the "game" to earn money. When you deliberately make yourself this way to earn money.

And who is Adam?

For the beggar woman to survive does she need to beg? I am sure she has more than 2000 Rs.

Truth is begging this way gets her more money than selling flowers on the road side.

Begging is done in gangs.

Yes. The homeless on the road in Canada and other places are there because they are addicted to drugs and other stuff. The comments are mean for sure.

And large hearted people help them too.

But deceit as you see here in this scene the woman being made into a joke the cvs are not very kind either to the beggar woman showing her as a con woman who even acts like being bent with age or disease when she can stand straight.

Also she has two cell phones with "balances" and change for all denominations of currency.

I am not the one who is unkind.

As for immune system each person is different. Some may fall sick. but touching sure communicates diseases. If the lady is hale and healthy then too she may be carrying some germs. What is wrong in me saying that?

And the part of your comment that really appalled me was when you said 'touching the woman was eeks'. I can assure you that your immune system is powerful enough that it won't let you catch a disease by simply touching someone. And when you talk about her changing her life with 2000 rupees think about this: it takes money and SELF-ESTEEM for someone to change their life which comments like the one you made stop them from having. And yes there are people who beg as a source of income but by that you cannot say that all beggars are the same. In fact most beg because they really need to beg just to put something in their mouth.

I am sure she has more than 2000 Rs . and this has become a habit to con and beg . which many people do on the streets in India.

They are not exactly in need of pity . In fact they are part of bigger gangs and they show a different side when they are provoked.

Hasn't anyone seen the scene from Saathiya regarding the beggar woman who stole Radha's child?

And I am sure this beggar lady has more money and she just finds it easy to beg because she does not need to exert herself.

What you are doing is called GENERALISING. Do not place stereotypes on a whole group of people due to some stories you have heard in the newspaper and something you've watched in a movie (not a reliable source).

Can't believe this post is still dragging. Let's agree to disagree and leave it at that. Each to their own opinion.

I did not generalize . my opinion was only pertaining to the character of the beggar woman who is shown as a fraud in this serial.

I did not talk about beggars in general. Even if I did then too so most of the people on the streets in India are like the lady shown in this serial.
