The beggar woman track is disgusting. And the kids Suhani and Agam are playing a dangerous game by using a beggar woman on the road ( so dirty... I wonder what diseases she has) to talk to Pam on the cellphone. touching the woman is eeks.

And the beggar woman is having two cellphones and change for 2000 rupees.

The whole thing is disgusting rather than funny. terrible.

Excuse me that's really mean ! There are reasons why people are homeless and have to beg be understanding of that and thankful for what you have. Don't you dare call beggars dirty they are NOT untouchables. It is your ideology that is DISGUSTING not beggars.

Beggars are not untouchables. But there are "beggars" and "beggars" and Beggars are of all types.

The one they show here has change for a thousand rupees and has two cellphones.

And yet she is looking so dirty. and is still begging. So she makes money by begging. Means she does not deserve pity.

Of course she is not untouchable. But she is not "touchable" either. Meaning one only touches anyone they want to touch. No one can touch anyone without their consent. and Not wanting to touch someone is not "untouchability" It is each one's personal preference.

Upto anyone to do "samaaj seva" but if someone has issues regarding anything as long as it is justifiable no one can be compelled.

Please read the law on "untouchability" It is against discrimination. not about actual "touching"

Anyone can not want ot touch anyone or anything.and that is not practicing "untouchability" . It is a person's right whether he wants to touch someone or something.

A con beggar woman is disgusting. when she still begs when she has so much money and makes money by begging. and police catch such people too in India. and then such beggars are up to all sorts of bad things especially in a country like India.

Can I ask you a question? A man or a boy wants to touch a girl in appropriately or wants to touch her at all and the girl does not like it can the boy or man complain that the girl is practicing "untouchability" ?

Touching a person man or woman if the person touched does not like it it is their right not to like it.

Even if a woman touches a woman and the woman does not like being touched it is well within her right to object.

And that is not untouchability.

Public discrimination of a kind is banned by law.

Touching a person without their consent is not right. and the person touched has a right to object.

i dont like1) being touched
2) to touch
anyone irrespective of caste , creed , gender
as i dont want to draw the other person's vibes, emotions, etc in short anything that reflects negativity and interfere with mine or mingle with mine
3) to gaze into anyone' eyes directly
as i dont want to get the reflection of the other person's emotions , again negativity on my mind, soul
and i am still of liberal view but i want to protect my positivity and emotions and i am NOT wrong if i dont want to touch or gaze anyone

Exactly that is what I am trying to convey. "touching" as such is only as per the discretion of the person who touches and the person who gets touched. It has nothing to do with un touchability.

One does not have to give reasons for touching/not touching a person. Just personal preference is enough reason.

Thanks for speaking up. i personally don't like panhandling, but I'm pretty sure if those people could turn their lives around, they would.
Just bc she is out panhandling doesn't mean she has a disease. Her being a con artist is disgusting, just like the character nivedeta, but the kids talking to her or touching her is not disgusting.. That was very inappropriate remark, lacking compassion and empathy, made by the person who started this discussion.

Oh yeah? you don't like "pan handling" but you think if these people could turn their lives around they would?

then why do they not turn their lives around when they have change for thousand rupees? That is because they earn more money this way and that is what is wrong.

if they could turn their lives around they would . This lady has money and two cell phones. why does she not have the means to turn her life around?

Her being a con artist is very possible. in fact "pan handlers" beg in gangs. and they could be doing more illegal peddling even prostitution.

As for the remark on touching the beggar these kids are from America. They know about touching and not touching a person.what it involves. and then they do not go about touching others. and in addition to that all these kids from abroad they use hand sanitizers all the time when they touch anything and everything in Inida. Does that mean they lack compassion and empathy and are being inappropriate?

If panhandlers could turn their lives around they would. if that is so why does this lady in spite of having change for thousand rupees still begs?

That is because she gets more money by begging and pretending to be poor than by doing anything else.

Who knows what the lady has disease or otherwise? If she is not a con artist what is she then? trying to pretend to be kareena's mom?

Nivedita is bad but the beggar lady does not deserve sympathy.

As the beggar lady being a con artist it is a known fact that beggars have gangs and may be part of illegal peddling of so many things as well as part of something bigger.

If when I say touching a beggar woman is disgusting is considered inappropriate these kids who are from abroad when they use hand sanitizers when they touch anything and everything in India is that not also in appropriate?

These kids are from a foreign country they know they should not touch anyone and eveyrone.

Also when one says eating food on the streets can lead to infections is that also inappropriate?

Truth is the lady is a oon artist and probably has a home to live. and she chooses to pan handle because she makes money that way.
