Thank you everyone for the wonderful replies. Bloopers are inevitable but such glaring inconsistencies are just too hard to miss. The whole flashback just fell flat and was extremely predictable. The Neil and Ragini who were absolutely in love with each other seems to be from another dimension altogether because the flashback just didn't justify it although I do understand that the flashback was meant to tell Suhani the truth about why they separated, it could have been done by just showing the after-marriage period with a brief mention of how Rupali was his ex-girlfriend before he fell in love with Ragini.
