Let me just start off by saying that this is not a Nachiket - Ragini OS😆its just an OS, but do read it. I have really bad grammar skills and I suck at writing in general, I am a reader. However, Sukhi and Rachna have asked me several times to write something, so thats what I have done...written something random. Please read and comment. Thank you and now I request all you wonderful writers like Rachna, Sukhi, Hinal, Surbhi,TVAffecianado (i know i messed up) and quite a few others, to write something fab on my Nachiket and his Ragini😆ok thanks.
Confessions to a BFF😳
Ragini's ego
and her stubborn nature made her leave behind all the relations she had formed
due to her alliance with Nachiket. Ragini was just being silly, everything and
everyone that she knew or loved was thanks to Nachiket, and would constantly
remind her of him. Most importantly, their children, Nishi and Aarav. Basically
Ragini was living a life of denial...that she could forget Nachiket by cutting
off the people that she had in her life thanks to him. Their friends had now
become just "his friends" after the divorce. She lost all contact with her BFF,
Dimpy. Not because she blamed her or Karan for anything, but she felt the need
to get away from everything that reminded her of her past with Nachiket.
Karjat
rekindled a few relationships for Ragini. Most importantly her friendship with
her best friend, Dimpy. Karan and Ragini were the best of friends until they
both got introduced to another set of best friends Dimpy and Nachiket.
Dimpy comes
to the hospital for a lunch date with Ragini. They had already planned this the
night before as Pam wanted to see the Taj Mahal and took Ranbir along with her.
She didn't have any guests to attend to. Nivedita was not her friend so she
didn't care to entertain her much. Nachiket is surprised to see Dimpy at the
hospital, they hug, "Aarey Dimpy what are you doing here?" "Kuch nahin Neil,
maine apne best friend ke saath lunch plan kiya tha, so just here for that".
Nachiket is confused. He sees Ragini walking down the stairs. He smiles, he
knows that the person Dimpy was referring to was Ragini. He felt kind of
nostalgic thinking about all those times when he couldn't give Ragini enough
time due to his surgeries and neither could Karan considering that the
restaurant business is perhaps the most difficult one out there. That's when
the ladies would make their own plans and have fun without their men.
"Hi Ragini!!!"
Dimpy gives a big hug to Ragini. Ragini is happy to see her as well. "I am so
excited, this is gonna be just like the old days, we have so much catching up
to do" Nachiket is watching them with a smile on his face. Ragini glances over
to Nachiket and finds a certain sadness on his face hidden behind his smile.
Just then
Nivedita comes to the hospital and covers Nachiket's eyes from behind. Nachiket
is obviously irritated, but he chose not to show it. He doesn't want Ragini to
get any idea that he is unhappy with Nivedita while she is happily married to
Dr. Aman. He slowly pulls her forward and gives her a hug, "What a pleasant
surprise, Nivedita"
Nivedita is a
bit confused as Neil is being nice to her for a change, but then she notices
Ragini is watching. Ragini is obviously hurt. Nivedita does chance pe dance, "Haan
Neil, maine socha ke tumhare saath lunch kar loon. Shaadi ki bhaag daud ki
wajaise, we couldn't spend enough quality time together. I missed you" She
gives him another hug. Nachiket wanted to push her away, but this was not a
place to create a scene. He hated her clinging on to him constantly. Ragini
gives a disgusting look to Nivedita "Chalo Dimpy, let's go"
DImpy bids
Nachiket bye by giving him a hug, but just gives an awkward smile to Nivedita.
Ragini is fuming with anger and rushes out to Dimpy's car. Dimpy follows. "I am
sorry Nivedita, I actually have a surgery scheduled in the next 15 mins. You
should have called, and now I have a quick meeting with Dr. Aman, he is going
to assist me, I have to go" saying so Nachiket leaves towards his cabin.
During the
entire ride to the restaurant, Ragini is fuming with anger. Dimpy is not able
to understand why Ragini is upset. She is married after all, she moved on, why
does she care? "Relax Ragini! Why are you getting so hyper? Is everything okay?"
"What does she think of herself, first sister now her? Did you see how she was
clinging on to him?"
Dimpy and
Ragini reach the restaurant. Dimpy has made up her mind that she is going to
find out why exactly Ragini is so upset with Nachiket moving on. Dimpy orders
herself a glass of chardonnay and Ragini orders herself a glass of merlot. She
needed a drink.
It's a Persian
restaurant, this was Ragini and Dimpy's favorite spot, and they would come here
often for their girl time. Ragini sips on her wine and before Dimpy could even
ask "You know what Dimpy, I really didn't want Nachiket to come back into my
life, it's all Nishi's fault" Ragini went on..."he hasn't changed one bit, the
same old philandering ways". Dimpy was getting a bit defensive about Nachiket
now, "hold on Ragini, why are you saying that about him? He has every right to
move on, just like you did"
Ragini is now
thinking about Nachiket's lunch "date" with Nivedita. He didn't have any surgeries
planned, he lied to her, but Ragini doesn't know that. She takes another sip of
her merlot, this time a big one. Ragini couldn't hold alcohol too well even if
it was wine. It got to her fast. "What do you mean by Like I did? I haven't
moved on!" "You are married to Dr. Aman, Ragini...that is moving on" "I did not
marry Dr. Aman, I can't even think about moving on, that man, Nachiket has
ruined my life" Dimpy is shocked...pleasantly surprised. "Are you serious? You
are kidding me right?" Dimpy is the happiest, she is trying to contain it. She knows
that her best friends love each other like crazy. Everything will be back to
normal again, she felt, she was waiting on a response from Ragini. "Yes, I just
went along with your assumption that I am married. You guys told Nachiket..." "But
then, why didn't you clear our misunderstanding?" "Because that man is so full
of himself, the day he meets me after 15 years he says that no man could ever
be able to tolerate me, I couldn't stand that, so I went along with it" Dimpy didn't care about the reason, as she
knew that her best friends had serious ego problems. But she was the happiest,
she couldn't wait to share this news with Karan. "O-M-G, I am so happy!!!!" "Promise
me, that you will not say anything to anyone" "I am not going to promise you
anything Ragini. You and Neil have done enough damage to your own lives and the
lives of your children, it's now time for some damage control. Besides, Karan
would be very, very upset with me if he finds out that I hid this from him"
Ragini
realized that she made a big booo boo, that is what wine does to her. "I still
love him, just the same if not more" confessed Ragini. Dimpy felt bad for her
friend, she held her hand trying to comfort her. "...and he loves you, the only
reason he is even thinking about moving on is because he thinks you moved on
and it's like Nivedita is his rebound."
"but the reason behind our separation still
stands; Suhani called me the other day. I know she is an innocent child, she
has nothing to do with what Nachiket did, but she is the constant reminder of his
infidelity, she confirmed my fears, my insecurities that I had with Nachiket"
Ragini's tears started to take over,
Dimpy got
close to her friend and comforted her with a side hug. Ragini hugged her back,
she needed this. She needed her best friend, her sister - to share her pain
with, just like she used to 16 years ago. Dimpy realized Karan and she had a lot of work
cut out for them, uniting Neil and Ragini.
