Swati, you were saying in your yesterday's comment, that he just dumped L in the party and walked away, which made you think he was not emotionally attached to her. But for me, the fact that he choose to share his divorce and also that, when he is going to talk to his wife (for a man who claims to be so private) is enough.

The phone conversation-

His musings ceased with the shrill ringing of his phone. He didn't require a glance to assess the caller's identity. Lately, she had grown increasingly impatient. Arnav gulped the remaining liquor in a single swallow, disregarding the burning sensation. This evening would, in all likelihood, demand copious amounts of alcohol anyway. He then picked up her call and waited for her to speak. Maybe she had calmed down.

“Arnav why the hell aren’t you replying to my messages?”

Nope. Definitely not calm.

“Relax. I’m home Lavanya. I just needed a moment.”

Such a easy comrade, she is screaming at him and he is trying to make her relax.🙂

To me, i almost felt he is saying all this highlighted dialogues in a fond way. In my mind, i imagined he was almost chuckling while saying all of these.

Why on the earth did he share his divorce news with Lavanya??? She was an outsider or May be not.

She was definitely close to him and this relationship was I think more than a year old.

They were acquaintances from last 5 years but more than that in last one year or so.

They might be meeting in the so called high society parties . She had the knowledge of Khushi’s occasional absence. She used it to her advantage.

This conversation didn’t have that impact when I first read it but now🤬

This one conversation had the most most impact on me, even before knowing that he slept with her. Because here it suggests emotional infidelity which is the worst.

How easily she is screaming "what the hell arnav" i don't think even khushi screamed at him that way ever and he is relaxing her here.

All i can hope at this point is all of this started after the failed baby attempt.

How desperate he was to get separated that even the period of 6 months was too much for him, aman and naina had to literally convince him that it is the fastest that they can go.

may be i love the IPK arnav way too much and somehow not able to digest this arnav but my overactive imagination is going haywire

The conversation you pointed to earlier feels to me more like an ultimatum from lavanya's side. like she has some hold on him and he is just exasperated that she is not giving him time to deal on this his own way

i know what you mentioned will mostly be true but i just cant seem to wrap my head around to see arnav of this story too falling that down..

Writer Arpita started astory with resurgence from an astute businessman Arnav's point of view, our critical feedback immediately made her to think through his wife Khushi's angle and perspective as well.

Now embarking into the middle of the story, the readers' detective investigation over posts and intense spying into the story is spinning it into a romantic thriller, but on a close observation I feel this story is classic replica of a Star War story of Anakin Skywalker and Princess Padme Amidala (I am a huge Star Wars fan)!

· Arnav aka Anakin Skywalker; overall good person / jedi turning to tragic hero by venturing into the dark side out of anger, assumptions and pain.

· Khushi aka Padmé Amidala; the queen is greatest gift to Star Wars who genuinely cares and is willing to fight for her people when all hope is lost; proving her bravery, courage, dedication and loyalty. Her loyalty also remains to republic aka parents.

· Lavanya and Manali aka the siths; absorbed by dark side, lead with the philosophy of self-promotion and aggrandization at the expense of others, self-trained to be cruel and brutal, known for use of aggressive feelings, deception and greed.

· The readers aka true Jedis endeavouring into the story, unmatched wisdom and force to recon with, upholding peace and justice throughout the story!

Oops, so much hype has been built over the last few weeks around this story, all the credit goes to our excellent writer aka Yoda Arpita! She has practically glued us to her story...

So far Khushi has lived up to Padmé Amidala immaculately while La and Manali are the siths to the T.

My only angst right now is that Arnav aka Anakin, the astute businessman who went from rag to riches turning out to be worse than heinous Darth Vader in real life and in relationships; he simply became cocky & arrogant with money, driven by his anger, assumptions to fall flat on his face, seduced by dark side of force; a whore category actress in spite of knowing her background and ended up doing a complete injustice to Khushi aka Padme..

I truly hope he has not crossed over to the dark side completely never to be able to return back like Anakin! Hope he remembered republic's virtues and was able to pull back just in time towards ethics, earning himself an opportunity for the resurgence!

So, Yoda aka Arpita, may the force be with you to help Khushi / Padme to resurrect herself, guide Arnav / Anakin for a resurgence if at all he has earned even a slim opportunity. The readers / jedis will attain the serenity!

Let's travel to light side of the force!

This is wonderful write up. though i am not star war initiate (i had to search these names :P guilty as charged) but this description seems to fit perfectly to the story. i am dreading the end then for them

Wouldn't it be the perfect perfect revenge and a tight slap to arnav. If he can cheat his decade long wife so why can't see his wife now with his decade long friend.

hey i thought the same. in morning when i was thinking of the confrontation and imagining scenarios, arnav was giving some lame explanation to khushi like he was lonely and lavanya was troubled and we bonded or some sort. the khushi in my head asked him this

' Would you have been ok if me and akash would have slept together then? i was lonely and he was troubled with payal's issues. would that have been fine then?'

edit - this thoughts were during my morning walk. u can imagine the hold the story has on me

You guys really do have me thinking like this is now a suspense thriller! 🙃🙃🙃

But I do understand the urgency. You guys have deduced a lot of things correctly. Arnav did let Lavanya know the details of when he’s going to talk to Khushi and by no means he comes off as someone innocent from that conversation.

Here Khushi dealt him a rather eventful surprise. You think a few months is too much? I’ll be out of your house in 2 days 🤷‍♀️. And as we’ve all seen and Akash and Payal reminded him, that action by Khushi threw him off completely.

Bdw ashvi on a fun note, the AMOUNT of trust you and tashi have on arnav is really, i mean reallyyyyy commendable..i mean his own wife probably didn't trust him that much.😂😂

I just hope arpita doesn't break your's and tashi's heart.😂😂 otherwise you two will be much, much more broken than khushi.

edit- then probably the resurgence would be your's and tashi's. 😂😂😂

i think tashi and me are holding out on a thin rope. we know deep down that we are going to get massive heartbreak, so just till the actual event (i.e. weekend) we are trying to shield ourselves with these overactive imaginations 🤣🤣
