What was in the envelope ? Why does it always happen that Arnav and Khushi take one step forward in their relationship and then destiny pushes them few steps backwards ? Hope to see Arnav and Khushi fight it together for once and then slowly build the required strut while in the process.

CHAPTER 30

Arnav went downstairs to meet Sandeep,Anjali's husband to collect information regarding the CCTV footage.Sandeep told him that many ladies were going to the direction of Ladies' washroom but as the camera was not installed near the washroom he couldn't find out anything.

He saw khushi coming down and going to the kitchen.Arnav quickly changed and went to the auditorium where the reception took place the day before .As it was his own building,he asked the operator to run the footage.He keenly watched the entire recording and on a particular point he urged the operator to rerun it.He could see a woman in a meroon kurti moving swiftly to the washroom area.Her face was familiar but Arnav couldn't recollect who she was.He sat there for another half an hour and asked Aman to join. Both went through the whole reception function once more and found that this woman was not among the invitees,but saw her entering the building in a hurry and after that disappeared through the main exit and again came through the exit in the narrow corridor.

Aman:Is it an old fan?

Arnav:Never.

A worried Arnav and Aman met their friend who was running a detective agency and assigned the task of finding out the details of the woman.On the way home Aman asked:Arnav,what about the meeting with J&K brothers?Are you coming to the office or do I have to conduct it?

Arnav:I'll be there because I want to know about their new project in Europe.

Arnav dropped Aman at his flat and reached his home.Khushi was watching TV along with Anjali.

Anjali:Chote,any news about the mysterious woman?

Arnav:Not yet.He looked at Khushi.She was chopping vegetables while watching TV. Her attention diverted when he entered and as she looked at him she forgot the surroundings and accidently the knife cut the edge of her finger.She cried in pain and Arnav rushed to her side.Blood was coming through the cut and Arnav shouted:khushi,what are you doing?My God.

Anjali came running with first aid box followed by nani. .Arnav did the first aid .Tears were rolling down Khushi's cheeks with shock and pain.Arnav wiped it with his hanky.Nani and Anjali exchanged glances.

Nani:Khushi beti,are you ok?

Khushi:Yes nani

Arnav:Khushi,you are careless nowadays.I'm worried.And I have an urgent meeting .How can I concentrate on my work if you are so careless? I'll be back only at midnight.Please don't wait for me.Have dinner and go to bed early.OK?

Khushi:ok,Arnavji.

Arnav:And..take care.

In the evening,Arnav went for the meeting reluctantly.He was thinking about her on the way to his office.

The meeting was a success and Arnav decided to join hands with J&K brothers in investing abroad.

As he was about to leave ,his office assistant brought an envelope to him.

The assistant:Sir,this was brought by a man around 5.oo pm while you were attending the meeting.He left and Arnav opened it without hurry but as he was going through the content he was thunderstruck and then he screamed:No...no...

Aman came running followed by the staff.

Aman:What happened Arnav?

Arnav was totally shaken and Aman asked others to go out and then closed the door.He came near Arnav and asked:Arnav,what happened?

Arnav pointed out at a letter.Aman quickly gone through the content and was shocked.He once again read the content:"Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada,wish you a very happy married life.But I don't want you to be happy.I'll never allow you to be happy.I'm going to take away your beloved wife.Did you hear what I say?Your wife's days are counted.I do want to see you crying your heart out.Just wait and see."

Aman:Arnav...what is this?

Arnav was not listening.He was hurrying towards the door.

Aman went with him.Arnav ran through the steps and to his car.He was driving madly.

Aman:Arnav,be careful.We will find out what it's about..Be careful.The traffic jam was hectic and an impatient Arnav was swearing under his breath.

Arnav reached home and called frantically:Khushi,Khushi...

Khushi,Anjali,Nani and Hariprasad came running in panic.

Anjali:Why are you yelling chote?

Arnav:Khushi,Why didn't you answer my calls?Where were you?

Khushi gasped.

Anjali:What is this chote?Why are you rude to her?

Khushi felt very angry.She turned and left without a single word.Arnav gritted his teeth and went after her.

Anjali to Aman:What happened Aman?

Aman didn't want to disclose the details.So he just said that Arnav was upset due to the incident that occurred on the day of reception.

Arnav reached Khushi's side,caught her hand and dragged her to him.He said:Khushi,You know how upset I'm?I'm worried and you take it easily.

Khushi:So..why should you shout at me?

Arnav:Khushi..you know how much I love you?

Khushi pushed him away and said:I know,that is why you were ready to sacrifice me.

Arnav:Khushi,I admit my mistake but don't torture me anymore.

And You won't go anywhere alone.Understand?You will go only with me or securities.

Khushi:What is wrong with you Arnavji?That lady might have pushed me by mistake.

Arnav:No,I'm not ready to take any risk.

Arnav's mind was in a turmoil.He didn't want to tell Khushi about the anonymous letter.

One week passed by.

Arnav insisted Khushi to accompany him to his office.He was not ready to leave her alone anywhere.He asked her to assist him but Khushi wanted to do something on her own.

At home Khushi was feeling bored as Arnav was busy with his work,Anjali in her husband's house, Payal continued with her office work and Nani was with her sister.Actually Arnav pretended to do some work at home because he was finding it difficult to behave like a stranger to her.At times he found it very awkward as they were not having any physical relation.But what worried him most was the anonymous letter.He was trying to find a way to trap the person.

One day Arnav put forward a suggestion to Khushi of starting an art academy as she was a diploma holder in art too. where she can appoint experts to give training in painting,drawing and performing arts.Khushi couldn't control her excitement and so hugged Arnav tightly and kissed him on the cheeks.Khushi:Thank you Arnavji.Thanks a lot. Arnav couldn't resist himself and kissed her on the lips.Khushi was still and then relaxed in his arms.Arnav whispered:Khushi...

As he was going to kiss her,they heard a knock on the open door.It was Hariprakash.Khushi tried to withdraw but Arnav held her tightly.Arnav asked:What is it?

An embarrassed Hariprakash:Sir,a man dropped a letter at the gate.Security brought it.Arnav saw him holding a letter.Arnav released his hold on her and took the letter from him.He saw the same handwriting and hurriedly opened it.He could see only one word in it written in blood red colour.."Death."

Arnav felt as though someone caught his neck.He was staring at the word and was standing still.Khushi hurried to his side and tried to read what is written inside.Arnav suddenly hid the letter in his pocket and said:No..Khushi..it is something related to a deal.

Khushi:No,you are hiding something Arnavji.

Arnav:No..no not at all.Khushi..please bring a cup of coffe for me.

Khushi:You want to send me away and talk to someone else.You are hiding something from me.

Arnav:No,Khushi..I want to talk to Aman only.

A reluctant Khushi went to get coffee.

Arnav called Aman and spoke on the letter.The decided to meet their detective friend.

Arnav started the paper work for Khushi's academy.He sought the help of his friend Nakul's wife who was a Kathak dancer and running a dance academy of her own.

Raizada family's old cottage was selected as the venue.Khushi was excited like a child but Arnav was very tensed and worried.Arnav had a very good reason for helping Khushi to start her career because he strongly believed that the anonymous person would turn up there so that he or she can be caught easily.Nearly 20 girl students joined in the first week.Khushi and two other teachers handled the work.Advertisement was done on a wide scale.On the third day of its opening Arnav received the anonymous letter through mail.It was written:"Don't imagine that I would come to your wife's place.I'm not a fool."

Arnav was confused but his securities were keenly observing the people coming in and going out.Khushi was fond of a student named Priyanka.She was beautiful and smart.She was a good singer and her brother was a guitarist.He used to drop and pick her after the classes.One month passed by.Khushi shared her experiences with Arnav but didn't show any sign of starting a normal relation with him.One day Priyanka invited Khushi to her house to celebrate her mother's birthday but Arnav didn't allow her to go.After two days,Khushi saw Priyanka very worried and when asked she told that her mother was in hospital.She also mentioned that her mother wished to meet Khushi.As Khushi was fond of her student she went with her to hospital.Arnav's securities informed him and he rushed to Khushi's side.Khushi found,on her way that they were going far and Priyanka who was chatting to someone looked different.Khushi began to feel odd and asked her why it was taking a long time to reach the hospital.She told that mother was discharged from hospital and was taking rest at home.Khushi was not satisfied with the answer.

The car stopped in front of a building.It was not a hospital.Priyanka's brother was waiting there.Khushi felt something wrong.She asked him about his mother.He led her to the upstairs of the building.Priyanka was walking ahead and stopped infront of a flat.She pressed the bell and a middle aged woman opened the door.The woman looked at Khushi shrewdly.She closed the door when all entered the room.She asked Khushi to sit down.The woman looked familiar to khushi.Khushi was trying to recall where she had met her.She was nervous and afraid.

The woman:I know that you are Mrs.Arnav singh Raizada.Now I will introduced myself.I'm Neena Vastav.Priyanka and Pranav are my children.Your husband knows me well.He destroyed my life.Infact he left me pennyless,jobless and homeless.She continued with an ugly smile.Priyanka joined the academy only with intention of trapping you.Your over smart husband collected the information of all studying in the academy but I could easily hide my identity with the help of one of my friends in the town.

Khushi was now very angry.She stood up to retort but the woman pointed her finger at her and shouted:sit down,I have not finished yet.Your husband's father loved me a lot.But he destroyed everything.He sent your father away somewhere.He sent me and my children away.I struggled to bring my children up in the last 5 years.He insulted me infront of the public.Now he is going to have a heart break when he knows that he lost his wife forever.I'm going to sell you.She laughed like a mad woman.

Khushi was shivering with fear but tried to look bold.She now understood who the woman was.anjali told her everything about their father.

Khushi:You treacherous people.You Priyanka,you were cheating me.But your plan is not going to work.My husband will find me and that will be your last day on earth.

The woman then rose to her feet and slapped Khushi on the face,took her mobile from her.Khushi fell on the floor and then she asked her son to bring alchohol.Khushi was terrified.Her son brought a bottle and glass.she filled the glass and pressed the glass to Khushi's lips.Khushi struggled ,then the woman tore her blouse.Khushi screamed. Priyanka and her brother held her hands and the drink was poured to her mouth.Khushi felt a burning sensation and as the woman was going to slap her again there was a loud knock on the door.They could hear more than two hands knocking wildly.Some one was shouting.Open the door,otherwise we will break the door.Khushi was feling giddy.She couldn't respond.The woman and her children were frightened but they dragged Khushi to the nearby room and then opened the front door.

Priyanka screamed when she saw the securities because she recalled what happened 5 years ago..They quickly entered the room and searched.But it was the turn of the woman to scream when she saw Arnav entering the room.He didn't say anything but simply went inside,saw Khushi and carried her in his hands.Khushi,who was affected by the alchohol forgot what happened but was happy to be carried by Arnav. If Khushi was in sense she could have seen how Arnav's eyes were blazing with anger.She kissed him on the cheeks and was asking him to do the same.He carried her to his car,settled her inside,saw the big scar on her face.She tried to pull him on her.He understood that she was drunk. anger.He asked his security to be on guard and went back to the building.His securities were holding them.

Arnav sat on the sofa and spoke:I gave you a chance to live but you don't deserve it.I started the academy because I was sure that the person targeting my wife would reach there.My securities were guarding the building and my wife without her knowledge.Then he stood up ,went near the woman and continued in a dangerous tone.I saw the scar on my wife's face.Who gave you the right to touch her?You are training your children to be criminals.He turned to her son and said:You scoundrel,instead of correcting your mother you are following her footsteps and then before everyone realize what is happening, Arnav slapped him twice.He screamed.Then he turned towards his securities and spoke:They should not see daylight again.

The woman screamed:No...no...Arnav left without a single word.

When he went to the car,Khushi was murmuring something.He asked the driver to take them to his flat near his office.He couldn't take her home in that condition.He held her tight in his arms and Khushi was trying to kiss him.He felt embarrassed as the driver was there.Somehow he managed to take her to his flat and placed her on the bed.She took hold of his hand and pulled him to her.Her hands circled his neck and she kissed him on his lips.Arnav tried to get up and said:khushi,what are you doing?You are not in your sense.Please ,let me get up.Khushi was breathing heavily and held him tight to her.She rolled on him and began to kiss him.Arnav lost his control and kissed her hard.He was aroused but the reality that she was giving her to him not in her normal sense made him guilty conscious.He pushed her away and got up.

He picked her up in his arms and took her to the bathroom, opened the shower and kept her under the water.She began to come to her sense.He brought a towel and asked her to dry and came back to his room.He opened a cupboard and took out a loose shirt and pyjama for her and went near the bathroom, and through the open door ,without looking inside gave the clothes to change.When she was not taking it he looked inside and saw Khushi wrapped in a bath towel looking at him with desire.He was shocked and as he was turning to go she hugged him from back.Arnav's heart was beating wildly.He managed to move from her and to the room.She followed him.Arnav looked at her from head to foot.She was looking so beautiful and sexy .Arnav found himself helpless.She came near him and touched him.Arnav turned abruptly and said aloud:Khushi,please move away,you are not yourself,please go to sleep.I have kept my clothes for you on the bed.Goodnight.He quickly walked out and went to his office room and closed the door.He was breathing heavily.He threw himself to the couch and closed his eyes.He couldn't sleep.After an hour he slowly peeped into his room and found Khushi in sound sleep.He took a quick shower and went to bed .

Megha came to visit Raizada family.It was Arnav's birthday.

One villain out and another one comes. Now Megha will create trouble.

What an eventful update! Luckily things are alrigt at the end but the next update gonna be interesting w Megha

woah...that was a sudden twist... but Arnav-Khushi still hasnt consummated their relation ? I hope this doesnt create more misunderstanding between them... esp with Megha's return... but I guess, Megha will misunderstand thinking she has a chance but will get Arnav-Khushi closer to each other

This time khushi will show megha real place..waiting for it

Arnav have so many enemies.. one goes than second comes in.. now what will megha do, will anybody let ArShi have a normal life?? first of all Khushi is not ready to accept Arnav and these enemies.. will Arnav be able to win his Khushi? loved the update..
