This is actual reality of our society. Even in these days, even when parents love their kids, fearing of society and their taunts, thinking about younger children's future, they are scared to support married girl who wants to come back from inlaws house to them even when they know she is suffering in her sasural and they compell her to compromise. 😭

Heart wrenching to read... Khushi believing that the father who gave her everything best will choose her a boy who is best for her... accepting karthik on realising reality on her mother's explanation about middle class families... her waiting for groom all blushing... The way groom behaved rougly with her in mandap while doing marriage rituals... her mother saying she is feeling like that because of her nervousness ... her normal entry in her husband house without any rituals... her husband's abusive behaviour because of less dowry from her father and added to that she was brutally raped by her husband on her first night... her calling her mother for help... Khushi's mother explaining her that it is common in marriages and even it is wrong she have to compromise fearing of society taunts.. ( I don't say Khushi's mother is good or bad but I only say she is blindly following rules of the society)... everything very excellently penned👏
Very few women couragiously standup for themselves to fight with society and people around.
I guess Khushi ran away the same night she called her mother for help and ASR found her.

The whole dowry custom is a bane of our society. Girls need to be educated and made independent so they don't have to be married to live a life.
